The female Senator from New Mexico Melanie Stansbury get told off on CNN for denying Democrats were responsible for tho Shutdown, and Democrat Senator Welsh got told off on CNBC for Democrats using blackmail tactics.
Meanwhile Schumer has a wish list of $1.5 Trillion made of garbage including global LGBTQ plus nonsense in the Balkans, Africa etc.
As we speak Republicans in congress/Trump continue to rise in the polls as Democrats in congress fall to new lows.

The polls do not matter.
The Democrats don’t care about winning the majority at this point. They care about holding their seats in the face of primary threats and those threats will elevate to reality if any of them bend the knee.
It’s going to take a retiring senator or eight who don’t care if their primaried to end the shutdown, and I don’t think there are eight getting ready to retire. They’re extremists are far more extreme than ours. Primarying the go along to get along GOPe was never ever a real threat.

The simple truth is the Republicans need to remove the 60 vote minimum in the Senate and go to majority rules. Yes I am fully aware of the nuances of the filibuster and the fact that at some point the dems with hold a majority again. You can bank on the next time the dems do they remove the 60 rule anyway. Stop trying to “be the move guy’s” we are in a war and it for all the marbles now.
Sad part is most of the useless gop just want to be in the door as well so they play the loyal opposition party and the gravy train chugs on.
