Bomb first, ask questions “never” makes zero constitutional sense and even less practical sense. I still have questions about the survivors from Ecuador and Colombia. Either they’re drug traffickers, in which case they should be tried and locked up, or they’re not. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that people who value the Constitution and due process are skeptical.

Rand should serve to protect the American people, with 120k + dying every year, and have Congress declare war. Then we don’t have to hear the winning voices of politicians while Americans die.

This is because at a fundamental level libertarians see nothing wrong with the cargo these drug smugglers are selling. To them its another market activity that should be allowed to occur. It’s no one’s business but the buyer and the seller. Nice theory but reality says something different.

As has already been posted, Rand is completely wrong on this:

• Non-Citizens are not entitled due process. That is reserved only for citizens or legal immigrants to the U.S.
• Drug cartels - including associates or those conducting trade with them - are now designated terrorists which gives the U.S. carte blanche to use whatever force necessary to neutralize the threat they pose to national interests. This means bullets, missiles, etc. It's all fair game now.
• Striking pirates or terrorists in international waters is legal.

Rand should know better, but he's just posturing since it keeps him relevant to his own voter base. It also helps him to keep the donations flowing into his coffers. One thing I know about Rand is that he is a campaigning machine that never stops.
