Disney’s ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere’ Bombs in the U.S.A.
Breitbart ^ | 26 October 2025 | John Nolte

As great as I found director Scott Cooper’s Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, nothing about its box office failure is surprising. And it is not only a failure; it is a shocking failure for box office analysts who projected an opening as high as $25 million with a $15 million worst case.

Well, as of this morning, the groomers at the Disney Grooming Syndicate are wishing that worst-case scenario had come about, because Deliver Me from Nowhere is staring into the abyss of a pathetic $9 million weekend debut and a humiliating fourth-place finish.

According to various reports, Nowhere cost $60 million to produce, at least another $50 million to promote, which means Disney will need to gross at least $200 million worldwide just to break even

That ain’t happening.

So, what did happen? How did a biopic about Freddie Mercury gross almost $1 billion worldwide? Bob Dylan’s biopic grossed $140 million. Elton John hit $195 million. Springsteen will be lucky to gross half of Dylan’s $140 million worldwide.

It failed, in to Donald Trump, because Springsteen is a raging, anti-American, poser douchebag, that is why it failed.

Because nowadays, when the subject of Springsteen comes up, to real Americans who are still the majority in this country:

Old worthless Leftist's care. And that is it. That is why he bombed. Nobody cares about his stupid, fake, hardscrabble life story.

I didn’t buy it. He was just a guy faking his down to earth persona to get rich. A lot of people fell for it...........

I have seen him three or four times in concert. In his 80s shows he really connected with the audience. Last time in saw him was 2003 and he was calling for President Bush's impeachment... from the stage. Buh-bye!

Amen!

The Dixie Chicks quickly found out, and it makes me happy that you brought it up.

What I meant to say is that Springsteen fails in comparison to Donald Trump...

Because Trump, even with his faults, is wholly American and authentic, and Springsteen is anti-American and a fraud.

I don’t like da itch because he gives America’s Blue Collar guitar, the Fender Telecaster, a bad name. James Burton and Waylon Jennings put Brucie’s butt to shame. RCA’s Chet Atkins tried to fire Jennings because the way he picked his Telecaster made the records skip. LOL! Just a good ol’ boy. You did good hoss. James has the nickname, The Master of the Telecaster.

Neither Freddie, Elton or Dylan were particularly partisan political. While Dylan was political he aimed his arrows at both sides and didn’t inject himself into the process. Even though he made his name as a 60’s folk/protest singer he is probably the most conservative at heart of the three. I have no doubt about Freddy’s and Elton’s personal politics and how they approached their personal life , that’s their right. But they didn’t go spouting off about it and trying to be players. They saw themselves as entertainers first and that’s been their public persona. And movies about popular entertainers sell. Movies about hypocritical blowhards, not so much.

>The Boomers will eat this with serving spoons! A Disney exec.
We may not have been hard hearted in our salad days, but we’re certainly not soft headed in the autumn of our lives.
No one wants to be lectured by this caterwauling lefty tool still stuck in the ‘70s and nursing delusions of grandeur.

Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Ringo Starr all cancel shows over the anti-LGBT law.
This was not just mmmmmm disconcerting, but rather queer.

Can I do this?:

Because Trump is wholly American and authentic, and Springsteen is anti-American and a fraud.
