These are signals, not assurances.

There is a God created void in man that needs to be filled. It will be filled with something. The question is what.

Luk_24:47 It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of His name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: ‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’

Do we really believe the above verse? Is that the message we are proclaiming?

It is a rather offending proclamation, isn’t it...............

Yesterday the Youtube algorithm prompted me to watch a short post from a woman in liberal Massachusetts. She and her husband were driving to church, he was driving and she was gazing down at her phone. He said “look up.” She did, and saw a long line of cars creeping toward the church for second service, and another long line of cars leaving first service. She was stunned: she had never seen this sort of attendance before. So yes, something has changed.

I think we still need to bring back the Knights Templars.

Churches are filling up.
But not the WOKE ones.
WOKE church is committing suicide.
Not only they are switching from eternal God’s law to some most recent fad, but making themselves redundant!
WOKE people by design do not need God!
Marx is sufficient for them.

My (LCMS) church has been up 10% in attendance in 2025 over 2024, which was also up about 10% over 2023.

I am amazed by the number of young people raised in secular or even atheist homes are “discovering “ God. Even in France thousands of young people made a pilgrimage on foot from Paris to Chartes Cathedral.

The two Catholic churches closest to where I live are bursting at the seams, mostly young people and young families. On of them is planning on building a new larger church building starting next year. My men’s Bible study group has almost doubled in size (mostly younger men) and we had to move to a bigger room. Both parishes are Norvo Ordo, but they have Latin NO masses. Lots of women, young and old, wearing veils, and lots of kids. Lots of people, but still a very welcoming atmosphere.

At no point in American history has the Bible not been the biggest selling book (counting all editions in print).

I'd say that's a good thing, but it only weakly correlates with piety.

Here is my tupence...this movie that has made a home for itself, for both viewing and review, “Nefarious”, is a hot item.

I have seen the film, and downloaded too, yes. There are similarities to work by Mssr. c.S.Lewis, which I read “last millennium”. This might prove an inspiration. It might get that cranial itch to look deeper.
Or, this is the drive for the present krwe, that “The Omen” had for those folks.

I give kudos to the two actors, in their portrayals, o the h
‘host, and the other, so well bamboozled, all that was missing is the bow tying hi m.
