Oooh la la. I now watch Special Report regularly over the last year and “We report, you decide.” is spot on for Baier. FOX haters will disagree but journalists are supposed to do exactly that.

He bends right of center, if anything. Not like the rest of Prime Time which happily exposes the Donks nightly. That’s not his job if he’s to be taken seriously. He grilled the hell out of Pritzker last night and didn’t let him skate like we always see.

Enter Bari Weiss into the CBS landscape. Baier and CBS could be a great match.

If I was FOX, I’m not sure what I’d do. He beats the alphabets. Keep him, or let him advance his career ?....if moving to an alphabet is “advancing his career”. Not so sure in this age of streaming.

All things considered, he’ll probably not bite. FOX has no perfect replacement should he bail. One part-time anchor, Rich Edson, iirc. could. but beyond that....? Bill Melugin , perhaps.
