Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups has been charged in an alleged illegal poker scheme tied to organized crime, sources told the Post.
Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier was charged as well, in a separate but related illegal gambling case, ABC reported.
Prosecutors and FBI Director Kash Patel are announcing further details about the alleged schemes at a press conference in Brooklyn on Thursday morning.

The multimillion-dollar scheme, which took place between January 2022 and March 2024, allegedly involved sharing non-public information with bettors, including when players would be sitting out games or would pull themselves early from games.
The teams themselves are not implicated in wrongdoing, but players and coaches -- both current and former -- are accused of providing "non-public information" to help insiders make successful prop bets on NBA games.

That’s all ancient history my friend.....and was baseball in a time when whites were the majority of players as well.
The NBA and NFL are dominated by black players.....and I suspect blacks will be most of, if not all of the people involved in these crimes.

I do know how prop bets work. It’s not good for the sport or basic integrity. I’m saying that it’s in the nature of human relationships that people close to them will get info first. Of course it’s bad when fraud is involved, but it’s been going on, even in sports long before this. Do insider trading laws stop that from happening? It lets Martha Stewart get arrested for a stock tip that didn’t even work out long term and gives people like Comey more power for Lawfare.
From what I can tell:
Dishonest blacks go after the small money.
Examples: Al Sharpton, BLM
Dishonest whites go after the big money.
Examples: Joe Biden, the Mafia
It will be interesting to see if this investigation also has talked with one LeBron James.
