The LGBTQ+ rights group Gender Justice, which represents Cooper, claimed the ruling as a victory, noting that Cooper won on the issue of state law barring discrimination in a place of public accommodation.
'That claim will not be unraveled,' Gender Justice legal counsel Jess Braverman said.
However, the justices noted that the law carves out a 'legitimate business purpose defense,' and said there is a 'genuine dispute of material fact' on whether 'seeking to ensure competitive fairness in an athletic competition' meets that test.
USA Powerlifting attorney Ansis Viksnins called the ruling a mixed decision - a partial victory for both sides.

This so called “judge” is a clueless idiot. Just because they spent the largest part of their worthless lives watching Da View and Court TV, it doesn’t make them real judges. Most of them were appointed by pedophiles, homos and sex addicts.

What law is the court using? It’s not that hard to decide that discrimination is not always wrong. Being indiscriminate is the same as being careless. Having discriminating taste usually is considered a good thing. If there is no law saying that a boy is a girl if he identifies as one, then the court has not place getting involved in private matter.
This sort of reminds me of the PGA tour decision in favor of Casey Martin, under the “Americans with disabilities Act”.. Martin had some sort of congenital foot problem that made walking difficult, so he sued to use a golf cart on Tour, even though the rule was for all golfers to walk. He actually was suing to be alloweed to compete under a different set of rules as everybody else. In the real world, with real judges, a court would refuse to take the case and deny the plaintiff standing to bring it. The PGA Tour is not an “employer” after all, & the only decent court decision for Martin would say that all golfers get to use carts, but then you would have judges making rules of competition, which they have no business doing. Fred Couples had a bad back...so did Tiger Woods. Did they all have to sue separately to get what Casey Martin was allowed by the court that ruled in his favor???? Judges have no business deciding this “discrimination” case, either. There obviously is no law that says men get to compete against women in professional or amateur sports or classifies so called “trans-gender” dudes as females.
