The Democrat Death Cult Grows in Virginia

Was it only weeks ago in mid-September that I wrote a column about Democrats embracing the assassination culture that took the life of young Christian evangelist Charlie Kirk?

And now in Virginia they’re doubling down.

Virginia Democrats are endorsing the murderous candidacy of Jay Jones, who comes from a prominent black Virginia Democrat family.

You see Jones in the photograph above, applauding the Democrat candidate for governor, former U.S. Rep Abigail Spanberger.

You’ve heard of Jones and his dark fantasies over texts to a colleague, seeking the murders of his Republican opponents. And their children. Yes, their kids who he knows. He would have used their corpses to remind the parents of the folly of pursuing Republican policy.

“Please stop” texted his colleague “It really bothers me when you talk about hurting people or wishing death on them.”

But he didn’t stop. He fantasized about urinating on the Republican graves.

And now the Democrats hope to elect him as the state’s attorney general, the top law enforcement officer in the state.

The story about the shameless homicidal Jones broke in The National Review.

There have been two responses from Democrats. One is that they’ve tried to ignore it, pretending it didn’t happen, and in this they’re aided as always by allies in the corporate legacy media, the same media that suppressed the NY Post stories of Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell.

They’ve ginned up a fantasy that he has taken real responsibility after making those disqualifying comments.

Why is it a fantasy? Because he’s staying in the race. If he gave a fig or even two about responsibility he would have dropped out of the campaign.

He would have taken the long lonely walk left to men of honor. But he has no honor.

And why disqualifying? Because anyone who would be associated with those gruesome fantasies would be disqualified for a job in senior law enforcement.

Any police cadet would have been disqualified, any applicant to the FBI or other federal agency. And yet, he wants to be the attorney general of Virginia.

Is there any honor left in Virginia?

No.

Democrats have “pounced” and “seized” upon idiotic texts by GOP young people, but there is no equivalency there.

They are merely stupid and idiotic text messages. Livestock breaking wind in some lonely isolated feedlot. Meanwhile the Democrat establishment of Virginia supports, endorses and seeks to “contextualize” the rabid hatred of Jay Jones, whom they offer as the chief law enforcement officer of the commonwealth of Virginia even though Jones has fantasized about the murder of the children of Republican opponents.

They’re not even remotely equivalent.

Sen. Tim Kaine, the Virginia Democrat who once campaigned for vice president as Hillary Clinton’s running mate finds nothing disqualifying in Jones’ comments.

He said it won’t hurt Jones’ chances in Virginia.

“Kristen, I don’t. For your viewers who aren’t Virginians, we have a race two weeks from Tuesday, governor, a race for lieutenant governor, a race for attorney general, a race for every seat in our House of Delegates,” Kaine responded.

“Four big races. We’re a battleground state. I think those outcomes will send a message, not only about Virginia, but about America in 2025. I think we’re going to do very well. I obviously think Jay Jones’s race for AG has been significantly affected by that.”

You don’t think that fantasizing about killing your Republican opponents won’t hurt him in Virginia? It doesn’t disqualify him as a law enforcement official?

I’d like to say this is mere partisanship, but doesn’t it run deeper than that? If Virginia elects a man who fantasized about murdering opponents and their children, what does it say about Virginia?

In the Federalist, writer Eddie Scarry wrote that the corporate media consumed by Virginians, mainly the Washington Post and New York Times downplay Jones’ Assassination fantasies because they agree with him.

”A random person gets popped in the face at a Trump rally for any number of reasons that might arise at a close gathering of thousands of people, and for days we’re treated to a national lecture from the media about the rise of right-wing violence. But a Democrat’s text messages are made public and in them he suggests he’d rather shoot a Republican than Hitler, and, well, the race is roiled! And those messages are a few years old, anyway, so what does it matter?

“Like the Post, the nerdy Politico also ran a headline portraying Jones’ sadistic deliberations as though they were merely a bad poll for Democrats rather than a depraved and disqualifying revelation. “Democratic candidate’s ‘abhorrent’ texts threaten to shake up bellwether Virginia elections,” it said. The word “abhorrent” was apparently something that had to be attributed to someone in quotes — in this case, Jones himself — rather than standing on its own as an objective fact. And my, oh, didn’t the messages shake up the campaign in a bellwether state. We’ve got a nail-biter!

It’s simple. The media react one way when it’s political violence they can attribute to Republicans and a different way when it’s demonstrably coming from Democrats. They do that because they sincerely believe one form of political violence is justifiable. We know which one it is.”

Why is this important? Because this is your country.

For years and years we’ve been subjected to emotional lectures about the future of the republic.

That “Democracy Dies in Darkness” and other bleatings of big government sheep.

They’ve lectured us about men playing sport in leagues for girls. They’ve expected us to applaud female impersonators like swimmer Lia Thomas.

And they’ve insisted that there was a third gender, that statues of our heroes had to be torn down, that America wasn’t founded on 1776 but in 1619 to appease the leftists of the New York Times historically discredited “1619 Project”, to radical political changes involving how we elect our leaders, from having an election day to an election season rife with possibilities of vote fraud.

And we were not only expected to sit there and take it but also to shut up and take it, lest we be denounced by the shrill voices of leftist harpies as the leftist corporate media watches in silence.

So, what does all this tell us about our nation?

“It tells me that the pursuit of power is more important than principle and doing the right thing” said Tom Bevan, president and co-founder of Real Clear Politics on the Chicago Way podcast that I co-host with WGN radio’s executive producer Jeff Carlin.

“I mean honestly, it’s disturbing to me,” Bevan said. ” There’s almost nothing you can do now. There’s no shame or remorse.”

Early voting in Virginia drags on. And the corporate legacy media that avoids casting judgement on Democrats land skittishly, like a fat bird on ice.

“Abigail Spanberger, she’s probably going to win that race, and she’s going to do it by basically not doing the right thing,” Bevan said. “Because she’s so much interested in power. She would just have a Republican attorney general, which apparently for her that’s uncomfortable.

“Therefore, she sends a ‘sternly worded’ letter to Jay Jones, as opposed to telling him, look dude, you have to get out. We can’t have you in this race if you said stuff like that.

And not enough Democrats have done that. That’s why he’s still in the race,” Bevan said on The Chicago Way.

Is it fair to judge Virginia by the candidates they choose to represent them?

That’s the only fair way to judge them. By the leaders they’ve chosen.

And in Virginia, the leaders there are the Democrats protective of their Death cult, and the only reason is this:

They want power above all.
