In a surprising departure from usual partisan rhetoric, prominent Republican figures, including Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and political commentator Tucker Carlson, have extended rare praise to New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, acknowledging his grassroots-focused campaign strategy, even as they continue to oppose his political ideology.
Greene, who had earlier shared a doctored image of the Statue of Liberty in a burqa in response to Mamdani’s rise, has since revised her stance. Speaking on Steve Bannon’s podcast, she said, “He really ran a campaign where he talked directly to the people… Even though his solutions are insane and socialist, he focused on their problems.”
She also took a swipe at Cuomo, labelling him a “dirty establishment Democrat” and praised Mamdani for offering “unique and smart” outreach.
Mamdani’s campaign, which includes proposals such as free buses and rent freezes, continues to draw criticism from conservatives. Still, the recognition of his campaign tactics from unlikely quarters underscores a rare moment of bipartisan acknowledgment in an otherwise divided political landscape.

Why do I get the idea that the central appeal is just hatred of the Jews?
It may be, but failures like Cuomo can’t keep hiding behind Israel. And Israel can’t just be your cop-out every time legit criticism is cast against corrupt politicians like him. That’s what gave rise to the likes of Mamdani in the first place. And his impending is quite unnerving.
Because the central appeal is hatred of the Jews.

This election is so rigged. More than half the ‘kitchen table’ people in NYC are immigrants. Few are legal. Crime is insane. The subways unusable. Cuomo is running he knows he’ll lose. Sliwa has already lost a mayoral campaign. He knows he’ll lose. Call him Perot

What you say is both true and important. However, there are constructive actions that can be taken. For example, reducing the cost of energy. The interesting thing is that most constructive actions by government consist of doing less. When government gets out of the way, the human environment usually improves.
Didn’t Reagan’s policies improve cost of living from Carter’s inflation era, etc…
The Democrat Party establishment is completely moot now. AOC, Mamdani, with Bernie Sanders as the elder…they are the new American Left going forward…

If you listen to Bannon’s show he plays their comments The hypocrisy and lies, the propaganda people hear and believe from these people is amazing.
But they’re on their way out. I don’t know how much NYC will survive
