A glamorous Brazilian influencer has been arrested after she allegedly ordered a violent gang to torture two suspects who had apparently broken into her home, cops said.
Izabela Paiva, who regularly flaunts her lavish lifestyle on Instagram, was nabbed Wednesday for allegedly making the Comando Vermelho gangbangers track down the two men suspected of robbing her Porto Velho home, G1 reported.
The 26-year-old mom, who police say has “close ties” to the feared gang, is accused of sending the thugs to punish the alleged thieves and retrieve her belongings. “Even though she was fully aware of how serious the situation was, the suspect chose not to contact the authorities,” Rondônia State Civil Police said.

When the rule of law becomes reliably unreliable, people resort to other methods.

It surprises me that the cops even bothered unless they think they can intimidate her into admitting something or giving them info on the gang leaders.
There is no way they can prove anything unless her phone was tapped.
She is likely the daughter or wife of someone high up and she knows better than to say anything other than “I would like my Lawyer now.”
