Picture this: America’s most-watched sporting event, played on American soil, featuring American teams, suddenly demanding its audience learn a foreign language to enjoy the entertainment (yes, really). It sounds like satire, but this is the reality facing Super Bowl fans come February. The NFL, in its infinite wisdom, has chosen a performer who not only refuses to tour in the United States but actively mocks Americans who speak English.
The league’s selection of Bad Bunny for Super Bowl LX’s halftime show represents more than just a questionable musical choice. This Puerto Rican rapper, known for his cross-dressing performances and anti-American rhetoric, recently appeared on Saturday Night Live with a special message for the millions who’ll be watching the big game.
Speaking in Spanish, he smugly told viewers they have “four months to learn” his language if they want to understand his Super Bowl performance. This from an artist who won’t even tour here because he fears his concerts might be targeted by immigration authorities during President Trump’s deportation efforts.
This is just the latest in the NFL’s long march away from its traditional fan base. The league that once celebrated American values now seems intent on alienating the very people who built it into a cultural institution. Remember when the NFL just played football? Bad Bunny supported Kamala Harris in the last election and has made his disdain for traditional American culture crystal clear. Even NFL legend Eric Dickerson didn’t mince words about the selection, saying if Bad Bunny “don’t like the United States, keep his a** where he’s at.”
But here’s where the story takes an unexpected turn. While the NFL doubles down on dividing its audience, Turning Point USA – the conservative organization still reeling from founder Charlie Kirk’s death just weeks ago – has announced something remarkable: they’re hosting their own halftime show.
It’s true, Turning Point USA is thrilled to announce The All American Halftime Show. Performers and event details coming soon. 2.8.2026 – AMERICANHALFTIMESHOW.COM
The “All-American Halftime Show” will run concurrent with the NFL’s official presentation on February 8th, offering viewers an alternative that actually celebrates the country hosting the game. The early details are telling – TPUSA’s website features a survey asking what genres people want to hear, with the very first option being “Anything in English.” It’s both a brilliant piece of marketing and a devastating commentary on where we’ve arrived as a nation.
President Trump himself called Bad Bunny’s selection “absolutely ridiculous,” noting the performer “does not seem like a unifying entertainer” and that many Americans don’t even know who he is. Meanwhile, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem promised ICE agents would be “all over that place” during the Super Bowl, adding that people shouldn’t attend “unless they’re law-abiding Americans who love this country.” Look, I’m not saying every halftime show needs to be Lee Greenwood singing ‘God Bless the USA,’ but is it too much to ask for entertainment that doesn’t actively despise half the country?
What TPUSA has recognized here is something the NFL’s corporate boardroom apparently cannot: there’s a massive market of Americans who simply want to watch football and enjoy entertainment that doesn’t lecture them about their supposed cultural deficiencies. These Americans remember when the halftime show featured acts that brought the country together rather than divided it. Anyone else miss when halftime shows were about, you know, entertaining the audience? They’re not asking for much – just entertainment in their own language, in their own country, during their own national championship.
This isn’t just about one halftime show or one tone-deaf performer. TPUSA’s counterprogramming represents something larger – the conservative movement’s shift from complaining about woke corporations to simply building better alternatives. Why beg the NFL to respect its audience when you can offer that audience something better? Why plead with companies that hate your values when you can create new institutions that celebrate them? (Spoiler: you can’t, and you shouldn’t have to.)
In the weeks since Charlie Kirk’s death, his organization could have retreated, could have played it safe. Instead, they’re taking perhaps their biggest swing yet, challenging one of the most powerful entertainment franchises in America. It’s audacious, it’s timely, and it’s exactly the kind of parallel institution-building that conservatives need to embrace.
The beauty of TPUSA’s approach is its simplicity. They’re not calling for boycotts or protests. They’re just offering Americans a choice: watch a performer who demands you learn his language, or tune in to entertainment that speaks yours. In a free market, that’s how change happens – not through force, but through better options.
Come February, millions of Americans will face that choice. And for the first time in years, they won’t have to choose between their principles and their halftime entertainment. That’s not just a victory for conservatives – it’s a blueprint for taking back the culture, one alternative at a time. And honestly? That’s exactly the kind of middle finger to woke corporate America that we need more of.

The NFL chose Bad Bunny as a part of the NFLs outreach to fans in Europe.
Why hasn’t the NFL cancelled the “Bunny” Show?
That would require the NFL big2igs to admit to a mistake!
Typo! Gag!
bi2igs = bigwigs
Seems like the wrong continent?
I think the Bad Bunny pick was meant to bring in the young Latino contingent who, I guess, the NFL sees as their future demographic. They figure the old white guys who actually pay for season tickets and buy things don’t watch the half-time show anyway.
RE: I think the Bad Bunny pick was meant to bring in the young Latino contingent
Isn’t there a better Latino entertainer to pick than this gender confused dude?
The better alternative already exists. Go watch your local high school’s football team. Bonus points if its a Christian academy that still believes in God.
The NFL is pushing the envelope in not-so-subtle ways. Just look at the sideline reporters adding nothing to the game. Then there’s the commercials where virtually every couple is interracial. Serious blacks play the violent game while the commercials show them as silly, often dumb.
I listen to the game on the radio.
Why not just refuse to watch the stupor bowl?
It’s not mandatory to watch.
You’ve noticed the number of games the NFL is playing in Europe? Almost one every weekend.
Heard anything about this?
Yes. If TPUSA really wants to perform a public service they could sponsor an in-depth documentary on the NFL's pre-arranged game results and deep gambling connections - drawing a contrast with the WWE, which is much more honest about the true nature of its simulated sports entertainment product.
I’m thinking “Bad Bunny” is a separate initiative.
PISS BE UPON THEM
LET EUROPE BUILD THEIR OWN TEAMS
