New policies are making life harder for trans people — and prompting big financial decisions

For Emma, what could have been a simple dollars-and-cents decision was far more complicated.

The choice before her: whether to accept a scholarship offering nearly free tuition to attend law school at Indiana University in her home state — or to pay $45,000 a year at the University of Minnesota.

A few weeks ago, she moved to Minneapolis to start law school, a choice largely shaped by the fact that Emma is trans. She has felt increasingly like Indiana's government doesn't welcome her.

Edward, Elliot, or whatever his name his should realize 2 things. There are millions of attorneys in this country. Very few people want to be represented by a man in a dress pretending he’s a woman.

Secondly, he just did a great public service advertisement for the state of Indiana.

They fall all over themselves to use the feminine pronoun as much as possible.
I will never acquiesce that a he is a she, or vice-versa. You can’t make me do it.

Ah yes, filing a complaint. If you talk them and offend them they file a complaint. If you ignore them completely and don’t talk with them except on work related matters, you are marginalizing them and they will file a complaint.

So no matter what you, they will file a complaint against you!

Would it even be possible to cram in more incorrectly used pronouns in such a short essay? Urinalists LOVE doing that.

Marge, SHE / HER. Say Her transition to a she her female says she is looking forward to her transition to a she with her friends supporting her choices as a she female her her her her her she, who was assigned a penis and XY chromosomes at birth, says her penis does not define her sheness as a her. She says.

People should be free to do what they wish as long as it doesn’t impinge on the rights of others.

And that includes living as a homosexual or transsexual of that is their thing.

But if another human is somehow forced or compelled to do anything to accommodate those people, anything at all, the refusal to do so should be legally protected.

Not one single cent of insurance money or taxpayer money should be spent on drugs or surgery for these people.

Medical institutions, surgeons, or practitioners (except in the cases of people who are actually medically physically hermaphroditic) should be charged criminally for performing transsexual procedures or prescribing drugs to facilitate those things. Obviously, I would support psychiatric services for those people.

Those transsexual procedures, all of them, should be prohibited in this country. If they want to do this to themselves, they are free to go overseas to have them performed on their own dime.

And that “free tuition” went to someone who was honest and did not lie about what they were.

They are. I thought this cross-dresser had a scholarship to IU, though. Anyway, that’s the colleges for you these days. They’re all liberal, even in red states.
