Hollywood legend Tim Curry has opened up about his experience meeting Donald Trump during the filming of Home Alone 2.
The British actor, 79, has shared insights into his time with the now 45th and 47th President of the United States on the 1992 movie. At that point, Trump wasn't yet a politician or reality TV personality, but rather a wealthy New York business magnate.
Almost 33 years after Home Alone 2 hit cinemas, Tim has written a memoir called 'Vagabond: A Memoir' chronicling his life before and after suffering a stroke in 2012 which left him partially paralysed.
Discussing Trump's behaviour on set at The Plaza Hotel, which belonged to him at the time, Tim remembered how the future POTUS was keen for his then-partner, Marla Maples, to be introduced to the director.......
Tim Curry isn't the sole member of the Home Alone 2 cast and crew to have shared thoughts on Trump's cameo in the festive blockbuster that earned £280m worldwide and ranked as the third biggest earner of that year.
Chris Columbus, the director of the first two Harry Potter films, has expressed his regret over including a cameo by Donald Trump in one of his movies.
Speaking to the San Francisco Chronicle, he confessed that the scene had become "an albatross" that he wishes to remove, stating: "It's become this curse. It's become an albatross for me. I just wish it was gone."

A total nothing story consisting solely of snark from washed-up director Chris Columbus and Tim Curry, who I’m nevertheless sorry to hear is stroke-bound in a wheelchair. He was funny in the movie.
Stay classy, Tim.
Everybody was glad that President Trump was in the movie when it came out. They are all backpedaling now due to their moonbat political beliefs.
The movie was set in NY and at that time, you couldn’t get more New York than President Trump.
Too bad it didn’t paralyze his mouth
So the Mirror wants to hype people suffering from TDS syndrome. Big deal.
The article really doesn’t say much, why did they run with this story?
Are the Brits so gossip obsessed that they will read weak sauce such as this?
I remember CC telling this story more than two years before Trump won his second term so there was no fear of retribution. Also, he doesn’t own the film so he can’t make revisions. The MSM is crap.
I fail to see mention of anything that reflects badly on President Trump.
Since most people never read articles, “The headline is the message,” to paraphrase Marshall McLuhan.
Waahhh! He didn’t like the decorations of his room at the Trump Hotel! And he lied to Ivana Trump about it!
As the Brits would say - what a twat.
Trump’s scenes were cut from the movie because another candidate could ask for equal time and the network or cable channel would have to grant it.
Ronald Reagan’s movies were not shown in the 1980 and 1984 campaigns because of this.
A couple extremely petty remarks is hardly something to write an article about.
I cannot believe that a person with the name Chris Colombus has not been forced to change his name.
Perhaps Judge Boasberg can be contacted to right this wrong.
He said: “She knocked on my door and said, ‘Are you happy in your room? Do you like the way it looks?’ And I loathed it actually.”
Amazing how much hate the DNC can extract with a simple “R” next to a name.
Fee Fi Fo Fum
I smell whining limeys.
Curry and the rest of the Hollywood backstabbers are so petty. This warrants a story? Maybe next Curry can do an interview about how the bath towels at the Plaza didn’t perfectly match the drapes.
Home Alone 2? Old news.
Wow the lying left wing scumbags have absolutely nothing negative to say about Trump, but they kiss democrat butt anyway.
Tim Curry supposedly lied when he said he liked the decor of his room at Trump Plaza. That would be called basic politeness, but I’m sure he did like it and is lying now.
