Sakiyna Thompson, 31, is facing a first-degree murder charge in the July 2022 killing of 23-year-old Kayla Hodgson. A woman accused of killing her romantic rival in 2022 took the stand for a second day in her own defense on Monday, telling jurors that she blacked out when she stabbed the victim.

Broward Sheriff's Office officials said Thompson flew to South Florida from New York days before the murder with the intent of killing Hodgson. Prosecutors said Thompson was jealous that Hodgson was dating Thompson's ex-boyfriend.
Hodgson was later found stabbed to death in her Tamarac Village Apartments home.
Kayla Hodgson Courtesy Courtesy Kayla Hodgson On Monday, Thompson told jurors she went to Hodgson’s apartment uninvited to talk "woman-to-woman" about dating the same man. She then claimed Hodgson attacked her and punched her in the face.
Thompson also said she was two months pregnant at the time. She claimed Hodgson cut her stomach with a piece of glass. Afterward, Thompson grabbed the glass and then blacked out. She then allegedly awoke to Hodgson dead on the floor.

Saw a show,on him- Sam had an incredible memory- coukd remember details decades later, names, burial spots etc. He was a real freak- they think there may be even mkre that he never confessed to. Makes all other sereil murders look like amateurs in comparison- they will never know the true number of women he murdered.
The wife called the cops and an ambulance, and started CPR-the EMTs took over, but the guy was dead-he had already had a heart attack about a year earlier. The mistress had called the cops after she got home-told them how her lover’s wife had gotten a key at the hotel desk after showing her ID, crept into the room, put the gun she brought to the mistress’ head and a gloved hand over her mouth and nose, got her out of the bed, picked up her clothes, and got her into the bathroom.
Took her to the door still at gunpoint, got her into the hall, marched her into an alcove and told her to dress-told her if she ever heard from her again, she would blow her away, shoved her into the elevator going to the ground floor-then went back to the room, undressed and was in bed with hubby by 2 am.
She woke him up at about 6am with the gun to his head as her special surprise. She-the wife was arrested later that day after the mistress told the cops her story-and there was a DA wanting to charge her with manslaughter because she knew he had heart issues when she planned this stunt, but there was no proof of malice-other than to the mistress, who wasn’t really harmed so the charges were dropped and she stayed free. I doubt the publicity enhanced her future dating prospects...

Yep- he was a very scary dude- big guy too. He was the face of pure evil
He was fzirly colloperative with investigstors thouhg which was surprising- thnakfully it helped to solve a lot,of murders. Its so sick when murders clam up, or toy wi5h investigstors, and never reveal the true extent of their heinous crimes. Gotta be so frustrating for detectives- znd for victim’s families when they know deep down the person did the murder but wont confess.
That is totally believable. Anyone who has watched videos of the loud angry violent black woman can see there is a point where all self control flies out the window like weave in a ghetto fight.
