Adjust Chrome’s accessibility settings
Open the Chrome browser and tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
Scroll down and tap Accessibility.
Adjust the Default zoom slider until the text in the preview is large enough for you to read comfortably.
If a specific site is still too small, you can often force it to zoom by turning on Force enable zoom.
Use the pinch-to-zoom gesture
On any web page, use two fingers to pinch out on the screen to zoom in, or pinch in to zoom out.
Adjust the system-wide font size
Swipe down from the top of your screen to open Quick Settings.
Tap Font Size.
Use the slider to increase the font size for your entire device.

It’s your browser.
Have you tried a different one? Google Chrome settings with Accessibility options can do that, it appears, along with a Zoom that is somehow changed and that you could change back.
Sometimes that happens when someone posts a link with a very long URL, but it usually just affects that thread, not the whole site.
Are you logged in?.........................[was I first?]
I had an accident last summer and had to buy and use a tablet because I couldn’t sit at the desktop.
Occasionally a thread I’d click on was like that - so tiny that even enlarging it didn’t halp. It was never on the first post, but only after I clicked to read the whole thread.
It’s never happened on the desk top computer, and hasn’t happened on the tablet in the last couple of weeks.
Reboot?
Thanks everyone!
It turns out Red Badger was correct: I wasn’t logged in to FR. The text was so tiny that I didn’t realize I had accidentally logged into DU! They need tiny text for their tiny minds over there, y’see.
Ok, ok...it was accessibility settings that saved the day.
Chrome decided to forget my custom zoom for FR.
The latest Chrome browser update was released on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, with version 141 (141.0.7390.70) for Android and version 141.0.7390.65/66 for Windows, macOS, and Linux. An Extended Stable version (140.0.7339.240) was also updated for desktop users.
That was the day my print went tiny, so I blame Chrome.
