You shouldn’t. I don’t trust them either. It’s all about MONEY.
Thanks for the announcement!
Never trust them as they are only offering opinions...and if they are wrong you die...
While my family was all medical, that was years ago.
Don't trust any of them these days.
This is one field where I prefer “foreign” perspectives IE doctors not educated in the US especially in the in recent decades.
There are some exceptions when it comes to specialists…But for general practice and pediatrics, I prefer those uncorrupted by US education system.
“I don’t trust doctors”
Fine.
Best of luck.
They probably don’t trust you either.
Stay as far away as possible. You are responsible for your personal safety. That also includes your physical health. You can buy your meds from India directly. (In quantity) What you need on a more timely constraint you can get from Amazon Pharmacy.
Yeah, same. But if you do find one you trust, they are golden
Most of the best docs retired with Obamacare, IMO.
My current doc is young enough to be my daughter but she is very smart and is not a medical lemming.
Plus, if she thinks a dietary chance or supplement will help she will recommend it alongside a medicine route.
Today they are no different than appliance repairmen or auto mechanics when it come to trust worthiness, in general they aren’t trustworthy, their low personal involvement assembly line type practices are cash generators for their real estate and investment lives.
Because they know more than you about medical concerns? I trust them but not entirely. But then again, I don’t trust anyone entirely.
Socialized medicine has a perverse incentive to keep you sick and kill you by 65
There’s a reason they call it “practicing medicine”.
They are practicing on you.
I know exactly how you feel.
The next time you have a 104 degree temperature or severe chest pains, go see your local mechanic. He might even throw in a free oil change......
When it comes to surgeons many of them are "Type A" personalities....it's well known in the medical community. Don't expect a surgeon, even the most highly skilled,to be a friendly sort. Don't expect him to hold your hand while you're working through whatever problem you have. You hire a surgeon for his skills, not his bubbly personality.
Medical advice these days is based on what insurance will pay for and the doctor’s financial incentives from big pharma.
My BIL is a retired Radiologist, my wife has worked for a family practice doctor as a medical assistant for over 20 years, our daughter has a BSN, and my sister and niece have a Master’s in Nursing.
My skepticism if doctors started when my daughter was a tween and her pediatrician kept insisting that she get the Gardasil vaccine. I researched Gardasil and found that there were many adverse reactions and deaths like the Covid “vaccine”. I told the pediatrician no and she kept insisting that Gardasil was safe.
My wife and I never had a Covid “vaccine” and I never got Covid. My wife had a minor bout of Covid which she was over in 3 days. We were both around people a lot.
I don’t trust doctors either.
I don’t either. 15 years ago I went to see a doctor for a UTI. I left there with a prescription for high blood pressure medicine and high cholesterol medication. I also had antibiotics. I took both medications figuring I might have a problem. Im 71 and still going stong. As it turned out, I felt worse and worse. Coughing all of the time and tired. Turns out it was the lysinoprile (sp) I was taking. Dropped the prescriptions in the garbage and have been fine ever since. I DON’T TRUST DOCTORS.
Most doctors are mediocre and go by flow charts. The incoming AI doctors will do the same but cheaper. 2 sent my wife into ICU through carelessness and one poisoned her where she had to have emergency surgery to prevent permanent blindness. It’s a matter of luck on what you get.
They are merely cogs in the machine.
