Does anyone know why?
I haven’t eaten at one in a long time, but now I know I won’t be giving them any of my money. Go woke, go broke.
Might as well just add roast beef and cover all the bases.
Keep the original logo, because chicken or not your franchises need some work, the only Long John Silver’s near me is kind of a dump.
OR
eep the Chicken and Seafood. Just make the picture half a chicken, and half a fish, separated by a diagonal slash because some people are going to bitch and moan about it being just a chicken. Also, maybe encourage higher standards out of your franchise owners that run absolute dumps of a location.
Your problem isn’t the logo, you braindead corporate hacks.
They fry it all in the same grease so it all tastes the same anyway. Only real difference is texture. They should make the logo dice over a vat. Long John Silvers, random fried stuff.
Dumb. Fast food friend chicken is saturated with CFA, Popeyes, Churches, KFC, Cane’s, and regional brands.
A parrot would be more appropriate.
Fried chicken is my favorite entree. Not theirs, though. All the Long John Silvers in our area closed down. They were partnered with A&W for years. They did have really good burgers, but lousy fries. There’s a Captain D’s about 40 miles from us. Same line as LJS’s, only better food. Well, relatively speaking; it’s no Red Lobster. Come to think of it, Red Lobster is no Red Lobster anymore, either.
Friend chicken cooked in the same fryolater as Fish? No thanks.
I used to eat at Long John Silvers as a kid. Now I may eat there once every year or two. Its good in small doses.
I use to eat at one and the same parking lot where I worked. They made really good wraps. Last One I went to was in Texas and it was grotesque.
I likes me some Chicken Planks.
Chicken of the Sea
Brilliant move. Everybody associates the character of Long John Silver with chicken farms, never with the ocean.
You associate a pirate with fish, not chicken.
Stupid. You can get chicken anywhere. That said, Culver’s cod is better than anything you can get at Long John Silver’s.
To be fair, they never served seafood.
