I'm bummed guys. For the past few days this site is virtually unusable. The words on the screen are teeny tiny to where I can only read them if I super magnify, but then on a cell phone, It's not really feasible. What happened and is there anything I can do?

Sounds to me that your phone is what changed with an update pushed out by them.

If I hit the 3 dots, then hit Zoom, moved it to 250%, problem solved. It saved it for all future access of FR on my phone.
Apparently the phone update reset the zoom to 100% which is small text.
This is the way to fix it on Android.

Tell you what, I am sick of them changing settings with updates. LEAVE THOSE ALONE. They keep turning my Bluetooth on too. I do not want bluetooth on.

On iphone, at top of thread on the left is a little icon that looks like a rectangle with three lines underneath.
Touch that and some options come up. At the bottom you will see the letter A with a smaller A next to it. You can touch either to enlarge or make smaller the font.
Can do the same on the FR front page as you might want that a different size.
Must be your computer or browser settings. I’m on an Apple computer, and the site is fine. Try clearing your cache for the site, and see if that doesn’t help. You’ll have to log-in again after you clear the cache. Or try another browser to see if the same problem exists on that one.

You’ve somehow changed the default font size on your internet browser for free republic. Change it by going to account, then manage block. That’s where you can can change font sizes.
Have you donated to FR lately? Worth a try, might clear it up :)
You may have inadvertently changed your display settings.
