These people really really want a new intercontinental glaciation! Not willing to wait for the next natural one.
I suspect they know man made global warming hasn’t panned out and the earth may be headed for a cooling period (I recently posted an article about the Sun’s decreasing output). To save themselves from having to admit they were wrong, they came up with a new scheme they now claim will cool the Earth and they can call themselves heroes.
Give me global warming.

In another couple of billion years, give or take a millennia or two, the Sun will become a Red Giant, incinerating everything within the orbit of Mars.
Earth, Moon, Venus, Mercury and everything else within that circle will be reduced to atomic ash.

If a technological civilization can’t engineer a way to migrate to other stars with millions of years of lead time before their sun pukes, then they don’t deserve to continue as a species.
What’s wrong with these sociopathic “scientists”? These arrogant dumba**es. How dare they mess with earth that belongs to all of humanity. If their putzing-around causes problems (after a fair trail and found guilty) will they be hanged in public?
In the 1970s, some scientists wanted to mine coal, grind it to dust and spread it on the ice fields to stop THE COMING ICE AGE which was all the scam at that time.
