This Loop is called "Kryptonite". Everything you hear is just improvised and recorded how it came out in the moment. Enjoy!

oh, for those of you who don’t know, the band, RUSH is going back on tour. Here is a link to their announcement the other day:

Bass in this song sounds a bit like Geddy at times.
Written by her and keys and piano by her and of course drums.
There are a lot Firebird style guitars.
Yeah I’m impressed by her.
Rush style syncopation in this one and you can hear Peart’s influence. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lowk0E2_dAM
THANK YOU for posting this link !!
I am a 73-year old drummer in a hard rock trio. We have TWO drummers in the group - me and a woman who ALSO plays keyboards and guitar !!
There is NOTHING more beautiful in Rock and Roll than a female drummer !!!
DAYUM!!! Heavily influenced, and that’s an understatement.
and you know what I like ? The guys chose her, not because she’s a girl, but because she’s really good. Really talented. If the same drumming came from a guy, I’d be equally impressed.
Meg White and her “Icky Thump” i appreciate perfedtion, or near perfection, but ido prefer struggling, or organic/garag3 band sound i guess sound as long as i5s no5 too far off- like meg’s sound
RIP Neil, but looking forward to seeing them play again.
I wonder if she will expand the drum set size when she is playing with Rush...as was said with Neil’s set, it was the only one in rock with it’s zip/postal code...
I saw Genesis back in the 80s. Chester Thompson's set was massive! But when they raised Phil's set up next to it ... holy cow! Mirror image of Chester's set. And then they both started banging on them together. It was incredible.
I heard the news yesterday that Rush would be doing a limited tour (with Neil's family's blessing).
I wasn't sure what to think at first, but it just makes sense the more I think about it.
They had John Rutsey before Neil.
Neil's influence during his long era was huge, but Geddy and Alex still have a desire to play, so they should do it while they can.
I hope they make some new music as well and don’t just focus on the old stuff
Unfortunately, Neil Peart was their primary lyricist.
Anika Nilles toured with the late, GREAT Jeff Beck...the absolute highest recommendation from that gig...
Hey, She’s a girl!
She’s on the drums:
