GLENDALE — Off the rails. That’s about the best way to describe the ending of the Arizona Cardinals’ 22-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 5.
While the sloppy play offensively and miscommunication ratcheted up in the second half, it was two back-breaking moments by Emari Demercado and Dadrion “Rabbit” Taylor-Demerson that sealed Arizona’s fate.
Demercado looked to be the dagger in the Titans’ side behind a long fourth-quarter scamper that appeared to go the distance.
That was until it was shown on the review that he dropped the ball before crossing the plane.

At least the Cards won’t have to see the Super Bowl halftime entertainment in person.
Demercado needs to be shown the door.
Follow the betting.
Pro sports ball. Meh.
Who won the World Series last year?
Cardinals to get this week’s “We Ass” Award (see Cam Ward’s postgame comments last week)? Or maybe that belongs to the Ravens?
Wow, people on FR still watching NFL trash.
With some of you, I’m convinced that even if your fave team jumped out of the TV and gang-raped you right on your own living room floor, you’d go right back to watching them the very next Sunday.
Sitting on your fat asses chowing down snacks.
Ruh roh, Shaggy.
lol - yes, because I’m worried about NFL potatoes from the interwebs.
Go have yourself a nice bowl of bean dip. Play Bad Bunny as a soundtrack.
lots of these improbable wins and losses this weekend look like fixes ...
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team accidentally win a game before.
Odds on Titans coach firing just dropped until next week.
But he best have his LinkedIn page spiffed up because it’s a matter of when, not if.

Elections are rigged. Polls are fixed. But the NFL? No way!
Literally? I didn’t watch the game, but I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. It was 22-21.
The Bears beat the Redskins 73-0 back in 1940. That’s pretty bad.
Let’s make it clear that that’s the Baltimore Ravens displaying their lack of patriotism in that photo. Not that every team doesn’t have it’s share of jerks, but you see too many of the players in that shot thought our anthem wasn’t worthy of respect.
As said: the fish rots from the head down and Goodall is the current head letting this crap slide.
They didn’t lose the way the Cards lost today.
When the Cardinals were in Chicago and St. Louis, there were not many winning seasons. They’ve now been in Arizona for nearly 40 years, but the losing tradition continues.
