Would it help if they remade Snow White and put her in a wheelchair?
The obvious solution is to raise taxes some more.
The real business people who own streaming services are now calling the shot in Hollywood! In fact they are also buying studios which means the old guard is out.
THE WRITERS STRIKE CAUSED A LOT OF CHANGES.
LOTS LESS EXPENSIVE TO PUT ON VARIOUS GAME SHOWS INSTEAD OF ANYTHING ELSE.
A COUPLE ARE PRETTY INTERESTING: THE 1% CLUB & THE FLOOR
That’s because all they put out is crap and nobody wants to watch it.
We can watch Mr. Beast on YouTube.
So why would we want to watch woke movies made by Hollywood nowadays?
Get rid of multi-cultural, woke girl boos crap and make good movies with believe casts and watch the money roll in.
I am tired of seeing blacks and other minorities inserted in shows to make a quota. Also the same for women and gays.
Also every couple is mixed now. Just stop it. Its not reality, and we are tired of it.
Very few care about these imbeciles any longer. It’s a brave new world and they are a part of it, too.
Another thing not mentioned is that high-quality older programming doesn’t go away, and some people choose to spend their time and money (if necessary) on existing material. The things I like to watch span decades, from Three Stooges Shorts and Marx Brothers (1930s-40s), to Burns & Allen (50s), Perry Mason (1950s-60s), The Fugitive, Secret Agent/Danger Man/The Prisoner (1960s), Rockford Files (1970s), BBC Dickens’ adaptations (1980s), Jeeves and Wooster, Nero Wolfe (2000s). That’s hundreds of hours of material that Hollywood does not have to provide for me.
When I do try new stuff (”Man In the High Castle”) eventually the pervert stuff gets snuck in, and I turn it off. One exception is Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul. While the language is needlessly vulgar, the one clearly pervert main character (Gustavo Fring) was certainly not portrayed as a saint, and he doesn’t scare the horses with his on-screen activity. I must admit that the directing, writing and acting in those series is top grade, even though I only watch clips from YouTube (which is surprisingly good for getting the gist of the story. The BCS’ “Squat Cobbler” is right up there with “Can it core a apple?” [Honeymooners]) and Vitavetavegamins [”I Love Lucy”]
