RIP, Dame Routledge! Thank you for all the laughter and joy you brought to people around the world.
Hyacinth Bucket (“It’s BOUQUET!”) was one of the most hysterical characters in television history. Hyacinth could be insufferable but, deep down, loved her family (except possibly Onslow, lol).
Hyacinth was a horrible singer, but Dame Routledge possessed a beautiful singing voice.
I think I will watch “Keeping Up Appearances” on BritBox tonight.
