No kidding...and taking that career arc course while employed by the SF Chronicle, as Freeper Worldtraveler once upon a time posted, with a circulation of 500,000 in 2000 to 60,000 today!
To paraphrase a line of dialogue from one of my favorite movies, Master and Commander:
The second time he told me a story...about how Pete Hegseth called all the flag officers in the military to a central location to read them the riot act to their faces. And he wrote an article titled "Pete Hegseth is f--king embarrassing" in which he wrote it was disrespectful and wasteful, and trotted out the old Leftist tropes about him drinking on the job and such.
I know it sounds absurd, and were it from another man, you'd cry out "Oh, what pitiful stuff' and dismiss it as mere Leftism.
But when you heard it was from the SF Chronicle, whose circulation has dropped from 500,000 to 60,000...you felt your heart glow."
