What have we learned from the Democrats’ tumultuous history? Power is what they prize. Acquiring it, retaining it, and controlling others through its exercise is what they live for.
Some things never change. Last Saturday, Ron Wyden, Oregon’s senior Democrat U.S. senator, made a ballsy -- if unintended -- declaration in a X post. Wyden proclaimed: “My message to Donald Trump is this: we don’t need you here. Stay the hell out of our city.”
My, my, are we hearing echoes of John C. Calhoun’s fiery declarations in the runup to the Civil War? The senator’s words smack of States’ Rights conceit. You’d think that Senator Calhoun -- err, Wyden -- was demanding that federal troops vacate Fort Sumter. Didn’t Abe Lincoln settle that matter way back when?
Portland -- the “our city” that Wyden refers -- and Seattle are hotbeds for Antifa, which was recently -- and rightfully -- declared a domestic terrorist outfit by President Donald Trump. Read the president’s executive order. They’re insurrectionists, no less -- or, more accurately, the tools of insurrectionists. The real rebels are many of the nation’s elite. You know, the usual suspects -- tech zillionaires, tenured academics, hedge fund titans, trust fund babies, NGO scammers, lefty lawyers, corporate media shills, etc.
Echoing Wyden was Oregon governor Tina Kotek and Portland mayor Keith Wilson. Kotek’s sole claim to fame is being one of the first openly lesbian governors. Wilson’s bio page starts off with his preferred pronouns. Kotek and Wilson had a presser telling Trump that federal troops weren’t welcome in their troubled city. What are Democrats thinking? Better to have unchecked violence and terrorists rule the streets? Why the free pass to attack ICE offices? Could it be that illegals are critical to the Democrats’ political fortunes?

“Let your rage fuel you” seems an odd way to convince your constituents to be peaceful.
Wear those damn masks! They do no good but making you wear them is a pleasurable display of our power.
“Take the jab!!! You are endangering all of us!”
These freaks are an embarrassment & would never win political office in a normal State.
Hopefully, Trump continues to apply pressure on the leftist networks operating out of Portland.

They have to steal the votes to win Oregon.
At the very least an additional charge and punishment should be added to anyone arrested
POTUS hasn’t shown all his cards yet.
Any dumbass with knowledge of regional politics can advise him on the key pressure point which will make them fold.

The answer here is not federal, it’s local. Citizens must arm the self’s and deal with this problem. If the cops get in the way, eliminate them. The citizens must take Portland back.
Can we all stop pretending that those leading the democrats in Portland don’t meet and plan their protests (insurrection) with Antifa leaders. And they are likely taking money to do it. In light of that, when will our intelligence agencies expose that they are working hand in hand with those TERRORISTS?! Arrest them before more people get murdered.
Yes, we have the technology to exterminate these barbarians. It’s way past time to round them up. The taxpayer should never have to pay for food and lodging for these scum.
Antifa IS Portland. The commie antifa goons have been infiltrating every aspect of Portland leadership and bureaucracy since the 90s. Earlier even. The visible antifa goons that are burning, murdering, and attacking are just the mentally ill foot soldiers they recruit from the street and PSU. The real antifa power are in the bureaucratic and political positions in the city, and state. That is why they are so scared of being called a terror organization. It will remove antifa from the seats of power and expose the whole house of cards.
Wyden is New Yorker. He only sees what CNN and MSNBc report.
