New Zealand officials forced to destroy inoperable, plastic, replica guns gifted by Kash Patel

It's been a minute, so why not have a laugh at the pathetic lefty government in New Zealand?

Kash Patel, the FBI director, traveled to New Zealand to open a security office in Wellington. At this event, he gifted security officials some 3D-printed replica handguns which were completely inoperable.

Essentially a decorative piece.

The New Zealand officials had to destroy the fake guns because even fake guns are banned in New Zealand.

From Newsweek:

During a series of meetings with New Zealand's top security officials on July 31, FBI Director Kash Patel reportedly presented three 3D-printed replica pistols mounted on display stands as gifts.

Recipients included Police Commissioner Richard Chambers, Andrew Hampton, director-general of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service, and Andrew Clark, director-general of the Government Communications Security Bureau, according to reporting by The Guardian.

Yes, even national security officials in New Zealand are not allowed to own a handgun. Even if it's fake.

After receiving the gifts, the officials immediately sought legal advice to determine compliance with New Zealand law. Police firearm regulators examined the items and determined they could potentially be rendered functional, demanding their surrender and subsequent destruction, The Guardian reported. New Zealand Police Commissioner Richard Chambers confirmed this course of action occurred according to standard legal procedure.

That'll stop all of the bad guys with guns for sure! New Zealand is such a joke now.

Richard Chambers, New Zealand Police Commissioner, confirmed the compliance review and outcome, according to a report from The Guardian: 'To ensure compliance with firearms laws, I instructed police to retain and destroy them.'

I have several Blue Guns, which are solid pieces of plastic shaped exactly like various firearms. Used for training and holster making.

Wonder if I could find someone in New Zealand who could "render' them "functional."

S.Korea is 30% Christian. That represents a chunk of political power that needs to be wielded to curb these Marxist schmucks.
