Spanish-language pop star and Trump critic Bad Bunny celebrated his selection as the Super Bowl halftime act by calling it a victory for 'my people, my culture, and our history' amid massive blowback from MAGA world.
The NFL surprised many by announcing Sunday night that the Puerto Rican musician was chosen to headline the highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show in California next February.
Bad Bunny — who sings all his songs in Spanish — has been critical of President Trump's immigration policies and recently admitted he refused to tour in the US over concerns that his fans would be targeted by ICE.

I’ve watched a couple Super Bowls in my life and maybe 4 other entire football games.
The only football I ever watch is when it’s on the screen in a restaurant.
This decision gives me one more reason not to care.

I was sort of a sports orphan in that my dad was completely into the football/basketball/baseball loop and I was unathletic. By the end of his life, dad had come to the conclusion that pro sports was a crock of manure, but back in the day he really was addicted to the stuff.
It would be hilarious if ICE showed up at the Gay Bunny’s “half-ass show” dressed like a marching band in “rapper” ICE Cycle’s “tour bus” and start hauling his hermanos and hermanas off to the detention centers. Another poke in the eye of America with a sharp stick from the greedy MFL slave owners.

People should boycott the NFL. They won’t though. They just make excuses like “I won’t watch the halftime show”.
I will watch the Superbowl when AC/DC does the halftime show.
I used to enjoy sports, when it was about “Sports”. There is a line of self dignity I will not sacrifice. I am not going to bend to an addiction to the point of sacrificing principles. They crossed that line and they can shove it... Nothing has me on a leash and especially just a sport that has become so commercialized and politicized it is embarrassing to even watch. It insults my intelligence to grovel on my knees for their “entertainment” and I’m just not going to do it.
Cannot imagine anyone maga still watching nfl games....but God is making sure the last few finally burn the pinch of incense for evil or reject it finally.
Some folks just need the nudge to finally give in completely.
