Democracy is a one-party system (of Democrats) who put their political opponents in jail.

In 2016 when the Democrat Communist Party militarized itself.

Democracy, REAL democracy, does not survive the first election when it is established. By then, the vast majority of the denizens under such a government scheme have figured out who to elect to give them all the biggest handout, and the governmental entity is suddenly bankrupted.
Electing representative legislators by democratic means is a totally and altogether different proposition. Simple majorities no longer have the totalitarian effect of “50% plus 1”. The representatives of the people have to resort to compromise and negotiation to get any business done.
Maybe Behar has a different definition of “democracy” than most of us do. At any rate, I (and many others) pay absolutely no attention to anything she says.
Literally hundreds of legislators, mayors, governors, US representatives, US senators, etc. elected every November or every other November, or every fourth November, or every sixth November since 2016.
But “democracy” isn’t working.
Ya see, Democrats aren’t SUPPOSED to lose elections. They thought they had that all arranged.
But when they lose elections “democracy” stopped working.
The Rats just can’t keep the bullsh*t out of their mouths.
Well, since we don’t have a democracy......
