The Trump administration signaled a dramatic shift in its approach to the Ukraine conflict Wednesday, with Vice President JD Vance warning that President Donald Trump is "growing incredibly impatient" with Moscow after diplomatic efforts to end the war have faltered.

"He doesn't feel like they're putting enough on the table to end the war," Vance said during remarks in North Carolina, referring to Russian negotiating positions. "If the Russians refuse to negotiate in good faith, I think it's going to be very, very bad for their country."

Secretary of State Marco Rubio reinforced the administration's hardening position during a tense encounter with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in New York on Wednesday. Rubio called for the "killing to stop" and demanded Moscow "take meaningful steps toward a durable resolution," according to diplomatic sources.

Clearly the rhetoric is heating up. Pressure on both Russia and the EU.
Oh don’t worry, some here told us Trump doesn’t really mean any of this.

Oh boy, game-changing aid package #314 incoming.
The EU needs to stop buying Russian oil.
Well, maybe if we all try hard enough, we can get a few nuclear exchanges over this war. That’ll show ‘em.
That's up to Russia, and who knows. It's the reason Iran will never have them.
One day it seems like we are walking away, but the next day we are back to threatening somebody with bad consequences.
And I stick by it. We are out of it. We may sanction Russia, but both sides are doubling to keep slaughtering eachother. We are done with it.
Except we aren’t done with it obviously.
Yeah, it’s looking like the short-sighted amoral warmongers may get their wish of WWIII fulfilled.
“Oh don’t worry, some here told us Trump doesn’t really mean any of this.”
I don’t think he does.
His options, other than direct intervention, are limited.
He has already stated there will be no unilateral secondary sanctions. And the US continues to buy minerals from them.
Seizure of assets? The US holds but $5bil. EU holds $280bil, but appear timid and reluctant.
He could ship more weapons, if Europe is willing to pay. That’s about it.

“Hey, marcus, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.”
You need to start kicking in instead of freep-loading.
“Well, maybe if we all try hard enough, we can get a few nuclear exchanges over this war. That’ll show ‘em.”

When the nukes start flying the stark reality is that nobody on this planet knows where it would end. One big blast from a thermonuclear devise will likely cause a response, and possibly a chain reaction of responses. Life everywhere will instantly change in unimaginable ways, and nobody will escape the consequences. We need to step back from this insanity.
You're relying on an article posted by a freep-loading spamming troll.
There is nothing that Trump could do to Russia will make any difference whatsoever in ending the war. Only imbecile doesn't get that nine months into his second term.
“The EU needs to stop buying Russian oil.”

Tell them that in the middle of winter. BTW we’re still buying uranium and fertilizers from Russia.
Keep being optuse.
How are the gas lines in Tatarstan today, Ivan?
