Auburn Tigers men’s basketball head coach Bruce Pearl is expected to retire prior to the start of the 2025-26 season, according to multiple reports on Monday.
Steven Pearl, Bruce’s son, is reportedly set to take over the program. He was listed as the associate head coach.

Nike may have offended Pearl to a serious point he wants to do more.

Well that could be I suppose. He even appeared - gasp! - on Mark Levin's show. OTOH, all he does is put together and coach winning teams.

Always gave the Gators fits, even our National Championship teams always struggled with Pearl’s Tennessee teams.

I have to believe it has to do with the new Nike deal. In these recent interviews he hasn’t been wearing the new Nike gear. This has me thinking Shane Beamer will leave South Carolina at the end of the year when they join the Establishment in July 2026 for an assistant’s job at Notre Dame.
