The View has been accused of 'purposefully avoiding' any mention of ABC's suspension of Jimmy Kimmel's talk show after the hosts failed to address the elephant in the room.
During Thursday's episode, presenters Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, and Alyssa Farah Griffin made no reference to their network's decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel Live! 'indefinitely' over his comments about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Instead, the women focussed their attention on the Epstein files investigation and ousted CDC Director Susan Monarez's testimony about RFK Jr.

Discuss.
They have been -likely- informed that free speech does not include what they want it to in their whim
The View gets more coverage on social media than I think they have viewers. It’s a worthless show.
had to have been shut down.no way they could keep quiet otherwise
They were probably told not to talk about it.
I actually think the existence of The View, just as it is, is a good thing.
Rush had it right. Let them talk. The world needs to know just how stupid and dangerous Leftists are.
Yep
During their ‘theyhateus’ they might have gotten a talking to.
“Stable mate” is apt.
They think it means they get to incite hatred. Their problem is sweet Charlie Kirk just got assassinated by a guy who was incited to hatred
We are done with it
However that’s not the issue. The issue is the FCC is doing their job. Kimmel just heard from his parent company also done with it degfending lies and libel and slander ti Trump’s successful legal team
So no. Free speech does not mean what these girls want it to mean Their hate sow is over
Likely because the views of most of them echo Kimmel's and putting voice to it spelled death to them, too.
Per Charlie Gasparino,
“ The backdrop to all this is Carr, a longtime telecom lawyer who is the new sheriff of the broadcast industry. Carr has been warning networks large and small that he’s taking one of the most expansionary views of the agency’s regulatory edict to make sure programming is in the “public interest,” First Amendment concerns be damned.
His impact has been nothing short of dramatic: Paramount settled a suit with President Trump over CBS’s controversial interview with Kamala Harris during the 2024 campaign, fearing that the FCC wouldn’t approve its $8 billion sale to independent studio Skydance.”
If they’ve been back on the air, I’m surprised they haven’t said a word about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. They’re such evil shrews.
Finally! Reality is starting to sink in!
How Jimmy Kimmel’s Suspension Went Down: Sponsor Panic, a Defiant Host and a Painful Call
Disney’s Bob Iger and Dana Walden wanted to know how Kimmel was going to address the situation. Sources say he planned to defend what he said rather than “kowtowing” to the outrage. Disney thought that would fan the flames.
