They are hilariously delusional and for this I’m grateful
Here's he hard truth: Russia has hardly been able to take any territory during the entire summer.
Russian propaganda advances with troops on motorcycles rushing up to a village and planting a Russian flag for a photo op and promptly being killed by Ukrainians are well documented by video.
Russian forces have been almost completely driven out of Sumy oblast and the Ukrainians can now threaten Kharkov oblast again to relieve pressure in Donetsk.
Russia isn't "patient," it's simply incapable. By next February the war will have been going on for longer than the "Great Patriotic War."
Russia lost 700,000 soldiers since Jan 2024 and only gained 1.05% of Ukraine.
New Bloomberg data showing Russia's total territorial gains since January 2024 amount to 1.05% of Ukraine.
In this time, Russia lost over 700,000 troops.

True, Putin said 2 weeks, there isn’t much difference, it would be better for marcusmaximus to use Putin’s own prediction though.
Russian Z-propagandist Maksim Kalashnikov publicly admits that Putin’s so-called "liberation" army has brought nothing but destruction to the residents of Donbas and other occupied territories of Ukraine and said goodbye to the dream of reunification.
"We came to 'liberate' Russian regions, but we’ve turned them into ruins. It turns out we’ve punished the most Russian, most developed regions of Novorossiya.
Unfortunately, yes, we’ll have to say goodbye to Ukraine - to the dream of reunification. Well, not say goodbye, but bid it farewell for a very, very long time. The chance was missed in 2014," he says.
The main problem for the Russians is that Ukraine keeps expanding the field of its defense in depth, meaning its drones, bombs and missiles keeps reaching further back behind the front lines. Armored vehicles and transport get taken out kilometers behind the line of contact. This makes it very hard for Russia to marshal enough troops or keep enough troops moving to sustain a breakthrough. They've tried responding with light vehicles that move quickly, but too few make it through and when they do they are too lightly armed and equipped to hold territory.

Stick a fork in them.
I have theory. I think Serski and Zelinsk are actually expediting the destruction of their own forces in order to allow him room to manuever for surrender without AZOV killing him in the process. How else can you explain the ineptitude of these two in the past month.
The end is near for what’s left of the AFU east of the D’niper. The slaughter is accelerating.
Keep listening to Kellogg and Zelinski claiming Russia is losing and when the exact opposit happens, I’ll do my FR happy dance and say I told you so. Letting your feelings get in the way of logic is the only way to proclaim that Ukraine is winning.
Technically, Russia was in the outskirts of Kiev and they pulled back based on what they thought was an agreement wit the Ukrainians in Istanbul.
Apparently both sides wanted to end it after both sides lost about 2500 men each in the first 5 days of the conflict.
There is some interesting information coming out now about how this initial shock to both sides actually became the template for Ukraine’s downfall. That Ukraine failed to mobilize early on when the patrotic duty ideal would have pulled many into the AFU, by the time they tried to mobilize in 2023 during the disasterous summer offensive to retake Crimea, no body in civilian life wanted any part of the Zelinski’s great patroitic war. In fact, by 2023 over one million Ukrainian men between 25-40 had left Ukraine.
The Zeeper Battle Cry, “Kiev in 3 days” is funny enough and for them embodies the idea that Ukraine is winning.
Ukraine advance Eastward while winning, and Russia retreats Westward in Defeat if one takes the Uke propoganda and the actual map toghether.
This might lead Trump to believe Putin doesn’t want peace.
Cherry picking a spokesperson to twist a point doesn’t win any wars. The destruction of the AFU happened mostly in the Donbas, and such is the price of war. Had the US not grabbed Kiev in a 2012 coup, and then tried to hold that gain by using Ukraine as a club to batter Russia hasn’t worked out well for the west. The EU is in ruins and Trump’s final nail in the coffin is his tariff’s to punish in lieu of sanctions, thereby isolating both the EU and the US from half the world.
Looks like Trump is going to get he comeuppance over sanctions and tariffs. China is gathering nations to break trade ties with the US and west over Oil, and if it was not so serious it would be funny. China cut off oil from Canada. The US may find out that many nations can live without dealing with US trade. As much as we think as Americans the world nees us more than we need them, the opposite might be just as true.
Venezuala is turning out to a global flashpoint. Trump had better invade and take Maduro out immediatley and quit screwing around or he might end up dealing with Chinese ships in the Caribbean and the west coast of S.America in defense of Venezula.
LOL, Putin failed to take Kyiv in his 2 weeks and his troops were butchered in the effort, it was a failure of the Putin military and the world learned that the years of the vaunted modernization had been all illusion, even Putin was shocked.
Whether Putin’s 2 weeks, or Margarita Simonyan’s (all of) Ukraine in “2 days”, or Alexander Lukashenko’s (all of) Ukraine in “maximum, three or four days” or Milly’s 3 days, the difference between 2 weeks or 3 days isn’t much.
So far February 24, 2022 Russia (now assisted by North Korea) launches the largest and deadliest war in Europe since World War II, today is September, 2025, and 2026 approaches with Ukraine and Odesa still there.
Its unclear whether the Russian advances near Kupiansk aren't going to turn out the same. You don't seem to realize that allowing advances as the Russian units get too mauled to hold the territory seized might be a deliberate tactic.
The Russians have been saying the AFU is on its last legs for a couple of years now.
Those must be pretty strong legs.
Many of us knew back in ‘14 when the CIA did the coup that there was going to be hell to pay.
well they might be doing some of that (free speech) but your point is well taken.
You intel was good for two weeks after Aug 29th, but your grand Ukrainian counter attack has lost steam. At what cost did Ukraine pay for this counter offensive... it took the remainder of the forces in several areas, thereby weakening them and has led to the impending loss of Kupiance. The war in Ukraine is lost, and there is almost nothing left of Ukrainian manpower.

Russia has lost a confirmed 121,000 KIA, agains a confirmed 1.7m Ukrainian KIA.
The globalist government using this war to divert attention from the recessions gripping France, Britian, Germany and the US.
Ukriane has affected less than 5% of Russian annual oil and energy production.
Germany was bankrupted by US provided energy costing 2.5x what Russaian energy costed, and now factories sit silent across the Rhur River Valley.
