I wonder if the professional Pro-Hamas and assorted other terrorists shut down the race as they did the Spanish la Vuelta professional bicycle race? s/

They’d get their heads chopped off in Qatar. Too many $$$$$ involved.

"...Architect: Hermann Tilke..."

Not exactly something to be bragging about.

Probably something from golf where course designers are listed.

"Probably something from golf where course designers are listed."

That's not my point. Tilke's circuits ALL SUCK. Overtaking on all of them is scarcer than hobbyhorse turds. The only reason why the Chrome Gnome would have kept hiring him is he was paying a kickback to Ecclestone. Because his product SUCKS ASS.

FIA has safety rules. But they way it’s designed everything is 200 MPH straight into a 40 MPH hairpin. They’d rather race at Bahrain than INDYCAR’s Barber, Road America, or the full Sonoma (NASCAR). There’s more action when you can put a big screen and a huge stand and care little about the paying public having a headset, walk around the track, and listen to a radio broadcast.
