Rolling Stone was hit with a series of high-profile layoffs this week, which we can only hope means the magazine will get what it deserves: a long, slow, painful, and humiliating death.
“An unknown number of Rolling Stone staff, including some of the storied publication’s most prominent voices, were laid off on Monday,” reports the far-left Wrap.
Tee hee.
Those s******ed include “executive digital director Lisa Tozzi, chief television critic Alan Sepinwall and copy chief Steven Pearl.”

Good.
Thanks for the great news.
They are a despicable publication.
I’m so old I actually remember when RS would give you a drop of content along with the agitprop. That was a long time ago.
First Robert Redford is dead, and I did not realize he was still alive. Then Rolling Stone, and I did not realize it was still in business. These things usually come in 3’s.
Rolling Stone put out a lying headline saying conservatives were trying to get people fired for “criticizing his (Charlie Kirk’s) rhetoric.” That’s what they call celebrating and promoting murder “criticizing rhetoric.” All of their readers, however few they may be, are being influence by this blatant lying...and one person is one person too many.
They are actually trying to portray conservatives as evil for believing celebrating murder may not be the type of values you want teaching children in school, treating patients, etc.
Yup. Their time has come and gone.
Boo-hoo. Not.
Now that’s a damn shame. Breaks my heart.
😱😱😱
To be fair, the magazine did inspire a pretty decent (and funny) rock song.
But the thrill we’ve never known
Is the thrill that’ll getcha
When you get your picture
On the cover of the Rolling Stone.
Used to read them and Crawdaddy back in the 70s. I haven’t picked up a copy since the 80’s.
“ I used to like that mag back in the 1980s. Seems like a lifetime ago. Forgive me. I was young.”
I liked it when PJ O’Rourke and Hunter S Thompson were writing for the mag.
I own exactly one issue - the one with Kate Hudson on the cover (Oct 2000) from when she had just starred in “Almost Famous”. Twenty five years ago it was leftist but not toxic leftist.
They were obviously being subsidized by USAID.
You don’t see any conservative organizations laying off employees. Elon Musk and DODGE found a lot of malfeasance in that agency.
Still rock’n’roll to me....
Did their UASAID funding get cut off?
This goes right past lying, into libel.
Most likely. That USAID stuff just went everywhere.
