Special Presidential Envoy Keith Kellogg on Monday said he and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff recently advised President Trump that Russia is losing its war on Ukraine — as Moscow has seen more than 1 million casualties while taking less than 1% of Ukrainian territory since November 2022.
Speaking at the Yalta European Security Conference in Kyiv, Kellogg revealed he and the chairman, Air Force Gen. Dan Caine, each reassured the president of Moscow’s wilting position roughly six weeks ago — shortly before Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

“I responded quite forcefully, and I finally said, ‘Mr. President, don’t just listen to me. Your chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Dan Caine, is outside. He’s out in the hall, bring him in and ask him that question. He’s your senior, he’s your principal military adviser,'” Kellogg said.
“And he did, and Dan said the same thing. He went, ‘Nope, not winning.'”

Russia is about to win this war of attrition. They are focused on destroying what little is left of the Ukrainian army. They are not focused on territorial gains.
Great, please explain how Russia conducting a WW1 style war of attrition in Ukraine, which results in tremendous casualties and very little territorial gain is superior to conducting a WW2 style blitzkrieg attack?
Among the benefits America has gotten from Russia’s invasion is how it has helped us prepare for war against China, I’ve talked a little about this for years now.

Japan Sends Air Force to NATO Bases As Threats Emerge on Multiple Fronts
“The deployment of the Japanese air force—its first mission to Europe and Canada—follows the conclusion of a British aircraft carrier’s operations in Northeast Asia.
Moscow, Beijing and Pyongyang, part of an authoritarian bloc known as the “Axis of Upheaval,” strongly oppose NATO’s reach into Asia, accusing the U.S.-led military alliance of inciting a new Cold War that undermines regional security and stability.”

Fastest way of destroying armies, is to surround and destroy them, ie blitzkrieg, not engage in WW1 style trench warfare.
Trump must ignore the inaccurate advice of Kellog, as well as the delusional Lindsey Graham. If Trump does not end the war soon, he will be pounded by MAGA voters next year. Russia has won the war. Trump must meet Russia’s reasonable demands and get out of this mess.
What Russia is doing is consistent with Russian war doctrine. If you want to learn more read Jacques Baud’s book The Russian Art of War.
What little is left? Ukraine has 900,000 soldiers with 1,200,000 soldiers in reserve.

Yup, no Russian encirclement's in WW2, just years of WW1 style trench warfare. Okay
This whole thread starts with delusions of military superiority from out-of-reality Boomers like Kellogg, supplemented with more delusions from out-of-reality Boomers like you.
Trying to suck us into one final war against Russia.
With decision-making based on delusions like this.

No one can win a war against a major super power because in the end everyone dies.
It is ridiculous to dismiss views on the military and European military issues because of age and decades of study and experience.
By the way, Kellogg is not a boomer, but you are.
Its funny how you refuse to post Russia's "reasonable" demands, or more accurately Putin's demand for Ukraine's complete surrender.
Putin demands Ukraine completely disarm, retreat from land it currently holds, recognize seized land as Russian, stay neutral, give Russian language/culture official status, de-nazify(de-Ukrainianize), give Russian Church official protection, etc.
Even Vice President Vance said Russia is ‘asking for too much’ to end war with Ukraine
If you’re hoping for Russia to win a war against the USA... Forget it... It’s never going to happen. If Russia and the USA go to war... The Russian’s will lose. Period!
There's a pony inside that pile of poo somewhere...
LOL Kellogg LOL
LOL Dan Caine LOL
