Russia is ‘losing’ its war on Ukraine, Joint Staff chairman, envoy tell Trump: ‘We’d kick their a**’

Special Presidential Envoy Keith Kellogg on Monday said he and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff recently advised President Trump that Russia is losing its war on Ukraine — as Moscow has seen more than 1 million casualties while taking less than 1% of Ukrainian territory since November 2022.

Speaking at the Yalta European Security Conference in Kyiv, Kellogg revealed he and the chairman, Air Force Gen. Dan Caine, each reassured the president of Moscow’s wilting position roughly six weeks ago — shortly before Trump’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

-snip-

“I responded quite forcefully, and I finally said, ‘Mr. President, don’t just listen to me. Your chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Dan Caine, is outside. He’s out in the hall, bring him in and ask him that question. He’s your senior, he’s your principal military adviser,'” Kellogg said.

“And he did, and Dan said the same thing. He went, ‘Nope, not winning.'”

They would have had ample aircraft if anyone believed that they would not be immediately destroyed.

Yup, that's why ALL their F16's have been destroyed. Okay

And my dad can beat up your dad... But our dads, with more pragmatism and a better sense of repercussions, probably won’t settle our dispute for us. Give it up and go back to working on your fantasy football picks.

” ...we and our allies are producing millions now...”

Nope. In three years all we get is fiascos, and threats to remove contracts.

UN forces have captured less than 1% of North Korea since July 1951...

X% since whenever means jack.

What % are they holding at the moment?

They can only use stand-off munitions, not much advantage over ground to ground rocket artillery, but more dear.

USA hasn’t made new hull since the 1990s.

Russian T90 has been in service since the 1990's. Where is the T14?

Ukraine has used both the Russian T90M and older Leopards. Crews always have said the western tanks are superior.

The US has two "new" tank efforts underway: the M10 Booker, an officially designated new medium tank for light infantry support unveiled in 2023 and entering production in 2025, and the M1E3 Abrams, a modernized, significantly redesigned version of the main battle tank currently in development

Does this represent current NATO minefield breaching tactics and equipment ?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oI0Vprf7FBo

How about this ?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ-sCT_maAQ&t=219s

Because the planning here is for 100m deep minefields when the russian ones were many km deep, and a million mines per sq km in some areas (200k vehicle mines)

Yet another defence procurement fiasco. The Army just cancelled the M10.

The US Army just put out request for proposal to see if anyone can build the M1E3...

“The U.S. Army has moved a step closer to fielding its next-generation main battle tank, the Abrams M1E3, by issuing a comprehensive market survey to American industry.

The request, released by the Program Executive Office for Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS) through the federal System for Award Management portal, seeks detailed information on industrial capacity to support mass production of the future Abrams.”

As a hate filled foreigner you are not actually arguing about what would result if the collective American and NATO military capabilities took on those Russian forces already bogged down in Ukraine, you are merely looking for anything negative to say about America and our allies.

As long as Ukraine is prepared to fight to the last Ukrainian, Russia is prepared to let them do it.

It’s hard to believe that this late in the game, people don’t understand Russia’s strategy.

I want Canada out of NATO !

We don’t contribute anything militarily, but are a potential target for whatever delusional fantasies of easy victory Boomers like you and Kellogg get us into a war.

The Russian strategy of mass assaults by ill trained Russian soldiers resulting in incredibly high casualties while taking very little territory? Okay

Which again has nothing to do with my post, it is America that you post against all day here at FR, boomer, another thing you rant about a lot, and always giving the impression you aren’t one, basically you are a foreigner anti-America attack machine here.

You’ve learned nothing during the course of this war, and I doubt you ever will.
