“Income taxes have caused me great harm so when will SCOTUS hear my case?”

Every penny of income tax that you’ve paid has been pursuant to a tax law enacted by Congress. The same is true of most past tariffs. The issue before SCOTUS is the validity of tariffs not enacted by Congress, but imposed only on the basis of an Executive Order.

As I understand it, the law allows the President to impose tariffs unilaterally under certain conditions. So it’s not the case that every tariff must be approved by Congress, but it’s also not the case that the President can do whatever he pleases. There’s a gray area. Gray areas are why we have courts.

Careful. You might be exiled to the TDS penalty box by clearly elucidating the legal issues.

Trump is going to win his case because the Trade Act of 1974 gives POTUS tariff authority. You blood sucking Free Traitors are going to be put in your place .

From where I sit, the Congress has tacitly approved the tariffs by not strongly objecting.

The President has accomplished the tax increase that Congress is never able to do.
