A disturbance in the force caused by Charlie Kirk’s assassination
American Thinker ^ | 11 Sep, 2025 | M.B. Mathews

People realize that something profound has shifted, and they’ve gone from passively engaged to very, very active.

You can feel it. Something has shifted. The world’s axis bumped. The heavens are growling. There is a disturbance in the force. “I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced,” said Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars series. Everyone I spoke with yesterday after this paradigm-shifting tragedy unfolded, said that something…something deep, something cosmic, something sinister—or maybe revelatory—happened.

We found out when Charlie died that the black soul of the underworld is far more active than even we imagined. The left, knowing full well that Charlie Kirk was an earth-moving piece of equipment for the right and for the Kingdom of God, made its move to rid their dark world of any vestige of light, the Light of Christ that shone from Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was unapologetic about his Christian faith and his political conservatism, and so he had to die. After calls for violence against conservatives from the likes of Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Tim Walz, Joe Biden, and myriad TikTok and X demonic players, the word was out: You need to kill Charlie Kirk and anyone else who thinks like him, especially Donald Trump. It was OK to use whatever violence is necessary to rid our country of people who love God, who believe men cannot be women, who are white, married, straight, and conservative. Get rid of them. Use a gun, use whatever you can.

And this, after a series of murders elsewhere in our country. Satan is prowling.

God knows that leftists have tried their version of ethnic cleansing, and they are serious. Conservatives must die. But something shifted yesterday.

Bill Ayers, 0bama’s pal, thought that about 10% of the population would have to be eliminated for communism to be implemented. I think that most of the leftists think so today too. You can feel it in the way they demonize conservatives, white people and Jews. To them violence is just a tool.

Actually, the Star Wars quote that came to my mind is “If you strike me down, I’ll become more powerful than you can possibly imagine” (not sure of the precise phrasing, as it’s been awhile since I last watched it)

All mentioned who have been inciting violence belong in prison for the rest of their lives.

Charlie was not murdered. He was martyred. The left made a serious mistake in so doing. Read Revelation 6, when the Lamb opens the fifth seal, John sees the souls of those who were slain for the word of God and for the testimony they upheld, lying under the altar in heaven.

These souls represent martyrs who have died for their faith throughout history. Their souls cry out to the Lord, asking how long it will be before He judges and avenges their blood on those who dwell on the Earth. Heaven will tke notice and evil will pay.

Yes, I feel it spiritually. As a pastor, I am about to launch a new series on the topic of revival and have been planning it for the past month.

Yesterday, I felt strongly to scrap that and preach truth, truth about the lies culture is giving us and the danger to our lives and our souls,

I am still processing my feelings and my thoughts. Is the Holy Spirit calling me to change direction or is it my own reaction?

Just because this happens to be the 21st century doesn’t mean that it stands alone in history.

Years ago, I read a PhD. analysis of numerous political assassinations. The object was to answer whether the assassin’s political goals were achieved. Not even in one case did the assassin achieve his political goals. More often than not, the opposite occurred.

I’m sensing this shooting has garnered more and stronger reactions even in normally nonreactive people than any other similar incident. I think this is the beginning of the end for the trans insanity. It’s probably the end also of the social “popularity” of the LGB movement as well. Trans will go away in society and go underground again in those individuals so affected. The LGB thing will just fade.

Several months ago, an elected Democrat was having a discussion on stage with her audience, and she said, “Look, there are just some things we’ll simply have to stop talking about and top of that list is trans.” A huge man dressed as a woman went nuclear screaming at her. She looked terrified as he was close to her and seemed like he was about to attack her. The video stopped at that point but her attempt to start rebranding Democrats was dead.

Even the average Democrat is well and truly fed up with trans. It would be okay with them if the LGB’s stayed onboard but there’s unlikely to be any special legislation just for them.

As deep into atrocity territory as it seems presently, I fear worse is to come. Gird your loins and BLOAT.

Charlie was the sort of Christian we should look at as an example. He lived it and had educated himself to the point of truly wearing God’s armor. You couldn’t debate him, he’d rationally discuss, logically, his point of view from facts.

There was only one option.

The only question here is if this was just some “tranny nutjob” or something more. Either could be true.

That was evident in everything he said. The rip, the tear, the rumbling, the disturbance in the force that you and I know happened yesterday, will eventuate in utter destruction of the Right or massive revival. I am betting on the latter.

The only way to defeat evil is to take the tools he uses off the playing field permanently. The scum who shot Charlie Kirk is one of those tools. So are his accomplices. They need to be taken out of play permanently. Talk is cheap, and won't get the job done.

There have been a lot of Charlie Kirks and just because this happens to be the 21st century doesn’t mean that it stands alone in history.

I’ve heard accounts that a lot of normies are actually waking up to how evil and crazy many leftists are seeing their expressions of glee at the murder of a political opponent. I only hope that is so.

Long term, or short term? Because when you consider long term, they have been very successful.

James Pepper: Would you like to hear my opinion, Mr. John Simpson Chisum?
John Simpson Chisum: Nope.
James Pepper: Well, my opinion is all this speechifying, store keeping, prayer-meeting don’t amount to spit in the river. There’s only one thing that’s going to make this territory know who’s bull of the woods... and sometime or sooner it’s going to happen. And you know it.
John Simpson Chisum: Do I?
James Pepper: You do. It’s just going to be you and Murphy, head-to-head and horn-to-horn... and one hell of a fight. But one of you has got to lose, so the other one walks away with the herd and the whole shebang. Now, that’s my opinion.

Genesis 50:20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
