"Something's wrong. I know I shouldn't do this. I'm risking an awful lot to go up against this FBI, the MAGA FBI. Something's very wrong with what I just heard. I mean, I watched it. I was hoping that they had caught the bastard who shot Charlie. So we saw a video of a person jumping off the roof. It looked very legitimate to me. However, there was no rifle in his hand.
"Now, the Mauser does not break down very easily. Incidentally, for those of you who know weapons, something's wrong with the whole thing. They're trying to claim he removed the barrel from the Mauser and fit the receiver and stock in his backpack and barrel in his pants, like, all in two seconds. It is not easy to remove a Mauser barrel or index it after reinstalling and remain accurate.

Is it possible he just had the rifle on a 2 point sling over his shoulder?
Take down rifles have been available for a very LONG time.
I have yet to see a picture of the rifle, we hear “Mauser” but have not SEEN a Mauser.
Mausers have also been customised for a very long time, a customized take-down variation is not that hard to do.
I may be one of the few on this board who has actual experiance in manufacturing custom long guns, the rush to conclusions I keep seeing over and over without actual knowledge is very disappointing.
Where did they find the gun?
The smartest thing to do is to abandon your weapons. It is my understanding that professional hitman often leave their weapons behind, because the weapons were made untraceable and it’s a liability to carry them.
The picture of the rifle I had seen was from a video on the Liberal Hivemind channel on Youtube, he was displaying what the NY Post had on X.

A Mauser action in a one piece polymer stock. I don’t see how it could be some kind of take-down conversion, that seems particularly elaborate for a sporterized mil-surp that was rebarreled. If I was putting that much money into a rifle, it’d definitely be getting wood furniture.
They traced his movements based on camera footage and found the gun in a field off campus. But I didn’t hear if they found it in two pieces.
I saw the same video Savage is talking about and I don’t see how you can watch the video and not see the rifle, except the shooter either had a towel or case with the rifle hidden, either way he clearly was carrying something that resembled a long rifle.
This is exactly what I’ve been saying ever since I saw that video of the guy jumping off the building. He has no gun with him. Is the rifle in the woods a red herring that was left before the event even started?
He was carrying the backpack. After he jumps, he has the bag in his hand, and as he starts running, he slings it over his shoulder and puts the straps over the other shoulder. It’s not a long gun. How did he have time to take it apart?
He has a Bag. He’s swinging a Bag and is careful to hold it when he departs the roof. It’s harder to see when he’s running across grass. There’s a black bag, it’s clear when he’s on the roof and when he goes over the side.
In a wooded are they saw him run to. There's a roof top video following him from the initial roof, to the road and the woods beyond.

That's the same question I've been asking. I don't think the gun in the woods is the gun that was used. I believe ANTIFA has been planning this for a while and may have used that gun to misdirect the police.
By the way, Andy Ngo posted this a few hours ago:

We don't yet know what the trans and Antifa engravings are on the rifle cartridges believed to have been used with the gun to assassinate Charlie Kirk, but if they are a "series of arrows," as CNN reports, it may be Antifa's signature "Iron Front" logo, or the trans symbol, or something else.
The three-arrow symbol serves as a dog whistle in graffiti, banners, and social media posts, indicating that the person who displays it is part of Antifa or supports its violent goals."
“Is it possible he just had the rifle on a 2 point sling over his shoulder?”
Yes, he put it back in a case that had a shoulder sling. I downloaded the video and zoomed in even more. He had a rifle in a case and had it slung from his shoulder alongside his body trying to keep it from being obvious.
He did have a rifle...
Video of the killer earlier shows him walking in a neighborhood with a stiff leg. He probably had the rifle strapped to his leg.
Exactly! You can see he is carrying something. He is a pro and had practiced for this many times to get the handling of everything down pat.
The back pack was the sling. Slipped the rifle in his pants at the rear. When he drops down you can see he is lopsided.
One leg not folding as well as the other.
Then limping off running until he starts walking with a limp again. Then ditched the rifle in the trees on his way to escape.
Long sleeves to hide tattoos etc. Probably got all his clothes from the goodwill.
He is now probably growing a beard and hair to hide his facial features.
May God help the authorities to capture this BASTARD.
Yes, I downloaded the video and analyzed it, he had a rifle in a case with a shoulder sling. I saw it too.
