(Vanity) Trying to post but all the text is in a very light grayscale and can be barely seen. Remedies?

As I'm typing this I can barely see the words. It's in a very faint grayscale. Is something gone wrong with Free Republic or is it something gone wrong with my computer? Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.

I did finally. I posted to the FReeper that said that they would not be going to work today because of how distraught they felt, and did anyone else feel the same.
I know that it’s so very easy to fall apart or spend the day just sobbing your eyeballs out. Grief is normal, it’s a very real thing that needs to happen, and it’s something many, many times that has left me doubled over in pain or in nausea.
What kept me away from going down into that hole, is other folks caring about me. Reaching out for help and not being afraid to ask for it. And most of all, seeing the plight of someone else going through something possibly worse and doing whatever I could to help that person. Even just sitting with them or just telling them that I’m there if they want to talk to somebody.

Most posts I do are with my smart (excuse me, dumbphone) because I just can’t seem to propel myself down the hallway to type at my desk. And then my dumbphone runs out of juice anyway.

Boy do I remember those days. changing out the ribbon on the typewriter, getting ink on my fingers no matter how hard I tried not to. And having purplish blue fingertips for a few days.
