A House hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) stunned lawmakers when video evidence showed a U.S. drone firing a Hellfire missile at an orb off Yemen—only for the object to remain intact and keep moving, raising urgent questions about technology beyond known military capabilities.
At a House Oversight subcommittee meeting on UFO transparency and whistleblower protection, Rep. Eric Burlison, R-Mo., unveiled the video.
The footage showed an MQ-9 drone tracking a UAP orb as another MQ-9 launched a Hellfire missile at it. The missile struck the orb, but instead of destroying it, the round appeared to "bounce right off."
"That’s a Hellfire missile smacking into that UFO and [it] just bounced right off, and it kept going," journalist George Knapp said. "There are servers where there’s a whole bank of these kind of videos that Congress has not been allowed to see."
Lawmakers and witnesses stressed that no known U.S. technology could withstand a Hellfire strike.
"Are you aware of anything in the U.S. arsenal that can split a Hellfire missile like this…and do whatever blob thing it did, and then keep going?" Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., asked each witness.
Nuccetelli and Wiggins testified that no U.S. technology is capable of surviving such a strike.

All that said, this doesn't mean the video wasn't AI. Rep Burlison is just as vulnerable as anyone to being fooled by AI.
It's just that to automatically assume it's AI demonstrates a lack of critical thinking.
That’s because the Department of War only buys the crappiest cameras they can find, and then they smear the lenses with Vaseline.
Orb = Amorphous blob on the screen
Also would not surprise me if they generated the video with Chat GPT.
It does look like the missile impact spun it around some.
Everything cannot be true. Everything cannot be false. There is middle ground. Many of the witnesses are credible. Something is going on but not sure just yet what it is. But I do believe there is an intelligence behind many of the sightings.

Chief Wiggins is Black?
A closed mind learns nothing!
Rules of engagement? Was whatever it was/is threatening local US assets? Did anyone in the chain of command consider what might be the possible response to this apparently unprovoked attack? All this makes me think this is an AI generated event. I hope our chain of command is not stupid enough to challenge someone or something that has the technology to put these “orbs” in our world.
“I can’t tell what it is.”
Can’t tell because you know something or can’t tell because you don’t? /s
Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
Occam’s Razor. There was no warhead.
“No use pointing out the camera is a FLIR infrared targeting camera ... facts are so easily dismissed today to keep up the great Wall of Willful Ignorance.”
And it is not the first time they have been tracked by FLIR. There have been many of these FLIR targeting events...
still ...
Both very good questions. Something isn’t adding up here.
Is that assumption based on facts? The commander might have concluded this was potentially an enemy drone threatening a US naval vessel.
But this is the first time - that we know about - that a missile bounced off of one without doing any apparent damage.
Ah a Gate Keeper speaks up from behind the Wall of Willful Ignorance again.
Noisy crowd, what.

One can seriously doubt that aliens would send a probe with technologies beyond our comprehension on a minimum trip of 10,000 years

You seem to not notice that the “aliens” are native, or may as well be, since records go back centuries, if not millennia.

Well since it is not a photography camera, but a million dollar infrared targeting camera, I’d say it did its job perfectly.
As that AGM-114R Multi-Purpose Hellfire II missile has a "sensory lock-on" dependency I can only surmise that the target possessed the ability to deny that. "Now you see me - now you don't".
Somehow the missile's sensors lost all sight of a target it initially saw well enough to fly to.
If the missile has redundant old "fire upon impact" detonation capability then "bouncing off" should not have been possible at all. That would point to the missile having a major malfunction or the target somehow possessed a way to nullify the missile's ability to detonate.
Just spitballing here. I'm but a simple cave man.
Your technology frightens and confuses me.
