AI is being misused, just to make more profits. There is no limit in the amount of work humans can do and we will never run out of work that needs to be done, so it is a mistake to use AI to eliminate human labour and not use it to enhance human effort.

Also, if AI can’t replace the accounting departments then i think it is a hoax. Having spent 17 years running a $8B a year payable system where i automating everything i could, the accounting folks couldn’t close the monthlies in less than 3 weeks mostly. I always asked them if they wanted me to automate or make some of their manual postings easier and they always declined. They also couldn’t close on the 1099 or manage the escheat stuff. I had to take those reporting’s over as well.

Pretty amazing our government is speeding up and subsidizing the AI development to eradicate inefficient human labor in certain areas.

There is a shift in the economy that people cannot comprehend. The human aspect of work will be phased out in many sectors. Why do you think tech bros aligned with Trump? The advancements in tech is so fast that many areas of human work will be lessened.

Deflation is coming to wages and other areas. That is point of the billions and billions in spending by companies to tech advancements; eliminate costs and the human edge in work.

If it replaces that many white collar workers then they probably weren’t needed to begin with. A lot of desk jobs are padded and duplicated.

When a new owner takes over a company, middle management is usually trimmed. I took over accounting for a large hotel once and fired many. They were bloated with “supervisors”. They had a controller. 2 assistant controllers and an income auditor. Only needed one.

Had nothing to do with fancy computer programs.
