Those pants are no longer available on Target’s website.
I just checked.
And it took me a while, but I finally found a pic that identified the brand.
The pic calls them
Champion Girls’ Pleated Fleece Wide Leg Pants - Tan M
$20.00
Target
If those are the same pants, I’m stunned Champion made those things.
Though I’m not stunned that Target bought them after looking at what else is available for girls on Target’s website.
Interestingly...
I don’t see any clothes for kids for sale at that website.
Target is not the only problem.
Champion produced those things.
It’s Champion’s brand on the pants.
.....””artificial labia should not magically appear on women’s slacks?”
Truly tacky. Should not. Nor should artificial schlong be stuffed into men’s slacks.
Just wait - they will get some celebrity like the current sweethearts - Swift and the other one (with the forgettable name) in the “jeans”...to model them and they’ll be all the rage - a word that shows how old I am....They are definitely ridiculous - hiring blind designers, I guess!
As for the unnamed one, people are gaga over someone who desperately needs a haircut and shampoo? No accounting for people’s taste!!
Your pic in Post #37: The radical feminists thought they were shocking with their pink knitted hats but the Army had it down at least 70 years earlier. They stowed flattened and looked super cool under shoulder epaulets on the uniforms that had them.
(C*nt caps, for those who don’t know)
If those are the pants in question I’ve seen them on the street a few times recently and there was nothing genital about them. I’d have noticed.
Yeah, it is pretty tacky looking, but IMO, the whole design is hideous, too.
It asnt on purpose. Its just a horrible sweatpants/pants design. Horrible.
And this here is a real pair of pants!
I think the labia will appear even on the thin model
There are laibial pleats right yp the center line of the crotch.
Whoa, now that’s bad!
“exactly! these pants are for confused boys to pretend they have a vaginal opening.”
Targay being Targay, just not advertising it.
Yeah ... when I read the article, I first saw the picture you posted and wondered what was the big deal.
Then I saw the other picture ... Houston, we have a problem.
This is why you don’t stop at component testing ... Integration testing shows how well or badly the system performs as a whole.
At least codpieces were initially functional…
Until the late 15th Century, it was common for men to wear a long tunic or doublet – essentially, a dress – with hose (tights) on their legs. Then the fashion changed. Doublets gradually inched their way upwards over the years, becoming so short that they no longer covered the crotch. This was particularly dangerous, because the hose men wore at the time came individually, like socks, leaving open spaces that were somewhat… revealing."So basically, you would put one leg in one hose, and then tie it to your doublet. And then you do the same with the other leg," says Victoria Bartels, a historian of early modern Italy at Syracuse University's Center in Florence, Italy. With the trendy new cropped versions, "it kind of left an area that needed to be covered," she says.
LOLOL…component vs system testing. No wonder us engineers get bad reps!
Had the designer involved engineers in the project, the problem would have been discovered before taking the product to market.
Not on purpose?
Go onto Target’s website.
Check out some of the clothing being marketed to girls.
And Champion, you got in bed with this.
Whoever made that decision needs a pink slip.
