I don’t blame Meals on wheels one bit for pulling out of Portland.
Most “meals on wheels” volunteers and delivery people that I know are retirees trying to keep busy and do some good deeds.
Its like sending sheep into a pack of wolves.
Yea I agree. Meals on Wheels does so much good too.
Maybe Trump needs to send Troops to Portland next?
lived in Portland 30 years ago...the city was a cesspool of derangement then.
Nightly riots now too.
He could deliver some from an armored SWAT truck like he did his garbage truck trips in the campaign.
There was a documentary of his pre-politics days in which he decided to do the “everyman” type work for a day for his Trump building tenants. Cameras followed him all day. He took over for various employees in their roles. He even cleaned the toilets and vacuumed in the apartments. Funny one was being the dog walker for a startled tenant. They kept the camera away for taking care of droppings from the dog.
So sad that the mostly invalid or elderly people have to miss their only meals due to the thugs taking over Portland.
The Portland leftists should be ashamed.
If they had the ability to feel shame.
Just up north on I-5, Kroger is closing SIX stores in Seattle for “losses.” But it’s the same Democrat garbage affecting Portland. Kroger just isn’t as honest about it as Meals on Wheels.
Two additional, six total Kroger-owned stores to close in western Washington
Kroger will close two additional Fred Meyer locations in Lake City and Redmond in October.

I remember that documentary. As you said the Portland libs don’t have the ability to feel shame.
But you have to remember, it's all for the "Greater Good."

Much of my family lived in Oregon.
due to racial BS Portland is a sewer.
Well they don’t believe in prisons, bail or police so...
The denizens call themselves “progressives” you know? They’re all so enlightened and ‘woke’ they can’t even get measly meals to bed ridden seniors now.
How much of this do we have to take? At some point soon there needs to be a breaking point. Where we take back our country and restore common sense, decency and humanity.
Yes, I have delivered meals on wheels in my small town for the past four years. People are so appreciative to have conversations with me when I come to their home. For some, it’s the only contact they have with anyone that day.
My mother used to benefit from Meals on Wheels. She could not get around and they became quite the blessing.
Enjoying that Diversity before they go.
So the TV show Portlandia was a more or less accurate portrayal of the strangeness of that city?
I think Donald Trump has lit the proverbial match. People are waking up everywhere But bureaucrazy is a bit entrenched in a lot of places.
Portland is like the film Resident Evil. Democrat Zombies everywhere.
It needs to be nuked from space, just to be sure.
Try a Meals on Wheels test where deliveries are made by secure autonomous vehicles. Neighborhoods in Detroit might like a program like that.
Vandals, thieves attacking L.A. food delivery robots
