Most “meals on wheels” volunteers and delivery people that I know are retirees trying to keep busy and do some good deeds.

Its like sending sheep into a pack of wolves.

Yea I agree. Meals on Wheels does so much good too.

Maybe Trump needs to send Troops to Portland next?

Yes, I have delivered meals on wheels in my small town for the past four years. People are so appreciative to have conversations with me when I come to their home. For some, it’s the only contact they have with anyone that day.

When I had a badly broken wrist two years ago, my daughter ordered Meals on Wheels for me. Lovely people but there was not a single thing they delivered that I would eat.

Friend in the neighborhood gets Meanl on Wheels too, and eats it. But she’s a very very unhealthy person.

Anyway, Portland is a Commie city and I feel sad that old folks there can’t get what they need.

In my driving days, I drove from Seattle to CA and to FL and even back then, refused to stop in Portland for gas or food or anything. Seriously bad vibes. Friend whose daughter lives there says there are beautiful, safe areas in Portland. Sure don’t see them from the freeway.
