The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has just reported a noticeable increase in COVID test positivity rates across the United States in data posted Friday, Aug. 29. The latest numbers arrive just days before Labor Day weekend, a peak period for travel and gatherings.
Test positivity climbed to 11.2 percent for the week ending Saturday, Aug. 23, up from 10.2 percent the previous week, according to updated CDC figures. Nearly half the country now faces a test positivity rate of at least 10 percent.
Emergency room visits for COVID also rose slightly, with 1.5 percent of visits resulting in a diagnosis for the virus, up from 1.3 percent the week before.
Hospitalization rates are rising as well. For the week ending Saturday, Aug. 9, the CDC recorded a rate of 1.7 per 100,000 people, compared to 1.3 just seven days earlier.
Deaths linked to COVID-19 remain steady at 0.5 percent of all US fatalities for the week ending Aug. 23.
The agency attributes the surge in part to the spread of the Stratus variant and notes that internal challenges and a new vaccine policy may also play a role.

Don’t take the bogus tests that tell you your cold/flu/ nothing at all, is “COVID”.
Don’t respitory viruses normally get a boost as Summer turns to Fall?
Still using those incredibly imprecise and incredibly easily manipulated PCR tests? I’d sooner believe that Bigfoot kidnapped JFK and took him to Atlantis, where he’s in retirement with Elvis.
There must be bodies in the streets.
Yet they still we are expected to believe everything “experts” say.
Lock down, everyone!
Boosters!
Universal mailed ballots!
Be scared. Be very scared!
Big Spike In Covid-19 Cases Revealed In New CDC Data
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
The key question about alleged spike in CV19 cases is this imo. Given allegations of historical false positives from CV19 tests back in 2020 - 2021, did medical experts following the post-16th Amendment (direct taxes)-facilitated taxpayer dollars for experimental CV19 jabs ever reasonably publicly address concern about false positives?
FR: "false positive covid"
“”””There must be bodies in the streets.”””
Huge dumpsters being delivered to hospitals as we speak.
How horrible. We better give the CDC more money before we all die.
Wear a mask.
Not believed.
Well…THIS little lady was just in Brooklyn a week ago, where an Uber driver coughed incessantly for the 30 minute drive. Four days later I started with that same darn cough. It is just a head cold, but I think it’s CoVid this time, based on the timeline and the symptoms. I haven’t tested for it. No need to.
Hubby had the same thing after a recent trip to Dallas of all places, so he’s doing fine this time.
On top of this, my sister in St. Pete started it on Saturday. We weren’t together so I have no idea where she was exposed. She probably did test because she’s paranoid like that.
Still, it’s a cold. Lots of nose-blowing, coughing, and sneezing. It isn’t anything to be worried about unless you are an unhealthy person.
I had a summer cold from Mid-June through early July. I didn’t worry about Covid. I just kept working and got over it.
Staring Friday night up to now, I was very sick and miserable.
Whatever it was, I got hit very hard.
Constantly drowsy, no appetite, a little nausea, felt weak all over, sore throat.
I seem to be on the road to recovery.

They think they can play us like a violin...
Sister and Brother-in-law of my next door neighbor just returned from a cruise - with Covid, both of them.
I had it for the first time last week. Not vaxxed. Quit smoking 9 months ago. Tired and headachy for three days. Zinc, ivermectin, doxycycline and decongestant.
Low grade fever and tested positive. I tested because I felt like I was being pushed down into the bed the first day. Never lost taste or smell. 64 next month. My wife didn’t get it but she still occasionally smokes.
