Medication Abortion Accounted for 63% of All US Abortions in 2023

Guttmacher Institute research from the Monthly Abortion Provision Study shows that there were approximately 642,700 medication abortions in the United States in 2023, accounting for 63% of all abortions in the formal health care system. This is an increase from 2020, when medication abortions accounted for 53% of all abortions.

Or that it should not be considered to be a human person based upon location, and or functionality (the same applies to when they are old), so that only once they are outside the womb and can survive (for a few hours) there, can they be considered to be a human person with rights.
