Re the featured book, "Red: A history of the Redhead" by Jacky Colliss Harvey:
Live online discussion about the book RED from Jacky Colliss Harvey
Through Jacky Colliss Harvey, author of the book RED: A History of Redheads, who regularly attends the RHD, we were introduced to the Redhead Project (redheadproject.net).
This is a collaborative photography project based in New York. The project captures the unique stories and personalities of redheads worldwide. Launched in February 2013, the project currently includes 565 redheads, photographed on four continents.
The Redhead Project book club is launching soon. And you can be a part of it! You can join the co-founders of The Redhead Project (redheadproject.net), New York photographer Keith Barraclough (keithbarraclough.com), and producer Kate Lorenz for a live online conversation from New York with Jacky about her book RED.
The idea is for redheads from all over the world to join.
Subscribe (for free) on Substack at redheadproject.substack.com to receive the event link and join The Redhead Project Book Club discussion, where we invite readers to ask questions and share their insights about Jacky's book before the interview on August 30th.
The official launch of the book club, including the discussion (link included), will be announced soon on Substack, scheduled for August 30th from 5:30-6:30 PM (CEST).

Love you too and I hope you’re doing well. ♥️
Where, indeed? /s
I think most of us are writing comments...
That was hilarious
Ok, ah...hmmmmmmmm...
Yeah, those eyebrows confound me, but what a cutie!
Whoa! Beautiful soul - you can see Heaven in her eyes!
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. She has such a glow about her and I believe she is rightfully in Heaven where God needed her most. Hugs to you. You will be with her again!!!
Thanks!! And I didn’t realize that Annie was a ginger!
Aaawww…what a lovely post. Yes, she was a Christian and we will see each other again. 🤗 We were very close.
And I didn’t know you were a ginger!
Yes, there are lots of redheads on my dad’s side of the family - the 100% Irish side. So at least one of the five of us kids was bound to be a ginger. And two of us have natural red highlights as well.
Well, it’s kinda hard to tell under the present conditions, but yes indeed. My whole family were redheads. My grandmother on my mom’s side was a Campbell, and all the others were Brits with northern roots.
My brother’s hair was more auburn while mine tended toward strawberry blonde. Now it’s platinum. Natural. I colored it red for a long time and then just got tired of fooling with it. LOL!
Ahhh, I see that somebody else has read Sherlock Holmes. :)
