I can dig it. Lisa can quit or run for governor in '26. Dunleavy can then appoint himself to finish out her term or she can do it as gov. She'd probably appoint a democrat. Still having her as governor would be less damaging than she is in the senate. Think DeWine getting kicked upstairs to the state capital. Kim Reynolds could walk right into the seat being vacated by Ernst.

Never mind that Dunleavy/Reynolds could be squishy. Governors have done state wide, are well known and will allow resources to go into other races. Then there’s the replenishment factor-new blood.

Murkowski and Dunleavy trading seats. Interesting concept but Lisa-don’t trust her.

She just needs to go away, period. I’m so sick of her ignoring the people of this great state. Every email I send gets a I don’t care about the people of Alaska, response. Dunleavy needs to be stronger to fight against this RCV crap. There seems to be a discombobulated “fight” to rid it again in 26 or 28. There is no one centralized voice to combat it.

Murkowski is only 68. She looks like she's already starting to fossilize.

Good, now if we could get some good candidates to stand up in Maine & Louisiana to get rid of 4 RINOs in the midterm elections with better non-RINO Republicans as replacements.

Dunleavy is pro-life.
Murkowski is pro-choice.

If we can eliminate Rancid Crappy Voting (RCV) and limit mail-in balloting to out-of-country USA citizens and to the provably immobile folks, that would fix much of our election issues.

There is now a push to allow voting by your web server. They guarantee that your vote is secure and will be counted as you intended. As a person involved with IT technologies for over 30 years I call bull-shiite on that. Any internet system that involves voting in the USA would be hacked before it went online and the result would be Mickey Mouse as POTUS.

I can dig it!
But yes, Murky would probably nominate Peltola. Because, native woman; or something else stupid.

The good people of Alaska needs to get rid of their rank choice voting system and also adopt paper ballots only with photo IDENTIFICATION. This entire country needs to adopt these measures as well as same ONE day voting.

Alaska is a very Republican, but not very conservative state - though it is right of center. However, Dan Sullivan is more the Republican brand there vs. Lisa Murkowski - he’s much more conservative than she has been in her last two terms especially. Another Dan Sullivan type would be a vast improvement.
