The Powerball is still 2 bucks a ticket.
I’ve been buying one play since it hit around 400 million.
Maybe Saturday will be the big day....

FYI....

Zorro Trust out of New Mexico won the Powerball in 2008.

The trustee of the Zorro Trust was none other than Jeffery E. Epstein.

The Powerball has had 4 “glitches” in the past 4 years requiring them to postpone announcing the numbers until the next day.

The MegaMillions had to postpone once during that time and even changed the winning numbers after they were already announced.

If you still believe these lotteries are real, you are very dumb.

Ambrose Gwinnett Bierce (1842 - c.1914) was an American short story writer, journalist, poet, and American Civil War veteran.

Bierce was regarded as one of the most influential journalists in the United States, and as a pioneering writer of realist fiction.

In 1913, Bierce told reporters that he was travelling to Mexico to gain first-hand experience of the Mexican Revolution. He disappeared and was never seen again.

When it gets that big, WTF, why not?
$2 for a laugh.

No big winner? you may even win a little prize.

Every week? NO
, but a Dollar and a Dream is good for a laugh.

I have two tickets. I bought 5 on Wednesday. Turned them in and won four dollars. Instead of cash, I took two tickets.

With that amount of taxation, a true patriot would refuse the award...

Here’s another quote from Bierce that I remember:

A son does not learn how to become a son until he becomes a father.

I would keep $20 million and give the rest to my favorite charities .... and a big chunk to FR.

The current administration would make vey big points by making lottery winnings free of federal state or city taxes

We think alike but my relatives would declare me mentally incompetent, have me committed and “look over” my assets in my abscense.

I worked with two people who have hit the jackpot. One in 1986–the Megabucks for about $2M. And another who won about $750 M in 2017.

I am pretty sure that sucked all of the lottery luck out of my life.

I don’t play the lottery, I am afraid I would win.

A tongue in cheek response but winning that large sum of money would create a nightmare for most. It is one of those wishes you wish you could take back if you won.

While some can handle new found wealth, most can not. There is a reason many big lottery winners end up poor and worse off than they were before winning.

Lottery in California was to help fund schools in addition to money from the state. Use to be $1 a ticket they then raised the odds much higher then they raised the price to $2 a ticket then this year they lowered the odds slightly but raised the price to $5 a ticket.
Yet schools say they are short money...
